Pequod Heath and Yisang Thread

That is one cracked passive but I feel kinda bad for the Shi IDs lol.

Anyways, Pequod Heath looks pretty good, 4 poise count on his s1 seems good enough, his s2 can inflict up to 10 bleed count... but he can only gain up to 10 poise before using it, so it's a 50/50 for the first s2 use, and his s3 plays heavily into the full envy team idea, requiring 6 absolute res for the maximum value.

Another thing to note is he has a really high stagger threshold, which should be good if you want to aggro turn 1 -> eat a bunch of attacks on turn 2, to get his hp low for a massive damage buff. It'll be fun to see how much damage overclocked Telepole can do at < 10% hp.

As for Pequod Yisang......

Well, his crit effects are extremely nice. 6 bleed count on s3, up to 3 coin re-uses on s2 wow. His clash values are pretty decent for a 00 id, too.

But what are these poise numbers....... they're so low. 2 poise on s2, 5 poise on s3. rip.

Hopefully Ahab Ishmael will have some effect that gives her allies poise--she did have that in her boss fight, I think.

I spent, 9,000 lunacis, 12 tickets, and it comes out all id of 3 but I don't get Heathcliff this bastard, and guess what came out twice in one shot as id of 3 stars? damn gremlin... QUIXOTE!!!
And to top it all off, when something comes out of Heathcliff, HE'S AN E.G.O!!! damn trash luck

I'm running those IDs as part of an envy absolute resonance team and I am shredding through Mirror Dungeon 2 Hard
Even that hard content can be reduced to nothing with massive offense level bonuses and 4 coin counters (taking damage is still an ideal outcome anyway thanks to Heathcliff's passive)

If you look at ATK and DEF power you can expect his attack to deal very low damage even if you win those clash. It's tank ID with counter skiil instead of defensive one.

Still better stick with Rabbit if you have one unless you got Middle don and want to play Middle's envy combo thing since 2nd and 3rd skills are all Envy.

Can everyone test if Harpoon Cliff count as middle ID or not? From the background we know that he/she is an ex middle which is the reason for skill 3 but does he/she count for triggering the passives?

Yi Sang is quite interesting.
Being a ID that only has two coins, means that the two poise count means you often get one end up with one more poise than needed, with luck rates. His S2 last coin recycling on crit, up to 3 times with Uptye 4, inflicting 3 bleed per crit.
Meanwhile that bleed gain on his S3 is nuts. 6/6 Bleed on crit? Sign Yi Sang up for bleed builds.

Meanwhile Heathcliffs care for Poise is very hard to pull off. With only his S1 giving him Poise count. Trying to get his S2 and S3 coins that matter to crit is way to hard. Really needs a team to set up his Poise and Bleed count gains.
To make up for being bad at Poise though the bleed Potency and damage he gets is pretty nuts. Factor in being a tank that gets better when he takes hits and drops low.

They are both quite good and I can see them in Envy or bleed teams easily. (Bleed really needs more going for them)

Its a draw rule now, its better to crack crates than try pulls for 000 ID or EGO. Just pull one group to get the 00 and call it a day. I myself spend hella resources trying for Don and it was bad.
Crafting is the way to go.

Used my Guaranteed Season 3 on this and got Heath but had to spend 2 10 pulls to get Yi Sang but I also pulled an Ego alongside Yi so fair, and I have already saved up for Ishmael. Not sure who going to be the partner of Ishmael though.

thanks for the suggestion I think that was my fastest mirror dungeon hard mode run to date even dealing with My Form Empties at the end there

I'm getting the same as above as well. I'm surprised how visibly awesome tier 3 00 Yi Sang Harpoon is! The next step will be testing how Ishmael tier 4 WaW Ego (Blind Obsession) works with its pierce power up for 4 allies.

I wish they'd put this id on mersault over hearthcliff. I can see the potential but its hard to rationally justify its use over rabbit. Well if the captain id will have 2 envy slots too, it may actually become stronger than rabbit.

I bloody hate pequod sang. Even with poise boost from rr2 this dumbass refuses to proc s2 crit 90% of the time. He's so unreliable for nuke turns it's actually insane
