Limbus Company

Limbus Company

Dream-Devouring Siltcurrent.
So...I don't have precognition and didn't build a party specifically to fight this guy going into the dungeon. I have:
-Spicebush Yi Sang
-Seven Faust
-Cinq Don
-Seven Ryoshu
-R Corp Muer
-K Corp Hong Lu
-Seven Heath
-Molar Ish
-Dieci Rodion
-One who shall grip Sinclair [Support]
-Seven Outis
-Zwei Gregor
How do I make this work? Because I've already tried a solid 5 times but my party got wiped by Blind Obsession every time :/

What went wrong? You couldn't win the clashes because coins too weak or no resources for egos? There has to be a reason, analyze first and pick what you think is possible key reason, so people can help.

If you play things right you only have to tank or clash the first blind obsession on turn two, just focus on lowering the floatsams hp down to one then the siltcurrent will use a skill called wayward blind obsession on the broken floatsam instead of regular blind obsession against your sinners. You might wanna bring N Sinclair for the skillcheck since it is a bit of a hassle to get positive sanity quick enough in this fight, also the permanent paralyze is great for his skills clashing.

You can also clash with Outis deffault E.G.O, since it has 20 floor, so paralysis doesn't matter

Is the flotsam supposed to be unkillable? Because I've dropped it several times but it never dies and next turn it just has 1 hp. And before you ask, yes, I'm aware I need more than 12 damage to actually hurt it.

Of my party, he resists damage from pretty much all of my skills and EGOs. And I can't go popping off egos to win clashes all the time in this sanity economy. Besides, even with EGO I can't clash Blind Obsession.

I think the problem is the team I brought in. I don't know what else there is to analyze when its this much of a slog from damage inefficiency.

The fight explains itself poorly, but is quite simple once you know the trick.
To start with, the paralysis is much less impactful than it will appear since it's a single stack, so it'll only effect one coin of one clash, and since you'll be at low SP that early in the fight, even that is up to chance.
Secondly, you'll only need to clash one Blind Obsession if you play things right; it's easy enough to kill a Flotsam each turn, and as long as there's one broken, the boss will waste its Blind Obsession on it and take damage to its tubes
the tubes are the last big factor, once they're broken the fight is effectively over, it'll take the environment based debuffs instead of you, so you can just beat it to a pulp which cracking the Flotsam so it keeps wasting turn, hurting itself and taking free staggers.

Yes, it'll get killed by the boss when it wastes a Blind Obsession on it, which is 1) a wasted skill, 2) damages the tubes, and 3) builds a stack of Blind Obsession status, which is a counter that staggers at 3.
Getting the Flotsam to 1 HP is basically a kill, it just hangs around to do its job screwing over the Siltcurrent.

First off, how are you clashing Blind Obsession? Nothing I have can do that.

Second, how are you killing this thing before it can fire off a second Blind Obsession?
I target the Flotsam but it never dies, so he never targets it if that's what's supposed to happen...

You can try cyborg mersault ego or pursance
Or minus coin ego like heath telepole/ish pink strings/4fm roday/impending day/9:2 sinclair/sunshower outis

Okay, another idea. Go into the fight with 5 sinners, so one of them can have 2 skills. With first skill you will wear out paralysis, and second one will be ego to clash blind obsession

I can try that with Outis since I think her EGO's got the highest floor of what I do have. Honestly I wish I had more EGOs but they cost so much thread.

Do you have an AoE EGO? The flotsam at 1 hp considered dead for the fight, and for the clash you have Nclair, he thrives with parallisis and as said before To Pathos has a floor of 20 wich is enought to clash with obsession.

Yeah, you can try with outis. Just make sure you don't use E.G.O on first skill in the chain, otherwise (I believe), she will just go with paralysis into blind obsession. You need to clash with first 1-3 skill with something, then go with E.G.O (also I wouldn't reccomend going oneside with that skill, since it seems sinners prioritize clashing first, when having one side attack and clash with the same enemy)
