Ego spam and paralyze is the way.

tanks like hong lu k-corp can help there but only if you upgrade it to tier 4 because of his aggro on his skills and his inmortality, but if you dont have that you should clash his skills with egos that have more than 28 - 30 clash power for him to stack up to 3 tear debuffs, that creates a head and you can stagger it and deal massive damage... i dont know your team comp so i cant guarantee your success

Bring tank with both blunt and wrath resistance, and watch this moron bashing his head against 200 hp sinner which receives only 0.25x of damage. Or even generally good tank, like Dieci Rodya or K Hong. R Mers with Regret/Capote is good too.

Not that you have any control when you fight them but brazen bull seems to have been designed with 'high coin numbers' as it's main and almost only gimmick. In normal play he's relatively fine because only his 3 coin attack really requires the use of Ego or rather fittingly dodge to defeat. In hard mode you don't quite get that lucky and I honestly believe brazen bull should be moved for their own game mode.

As it stands, the Brazen Bull is something you should prepare for well in advance. You want either the ability to stack up bleed, burn, or trauma incredibly high because you get at least 3 attacks on him that will not be interrupted. As for his skills, while he does hit quite hard for the most part anyone with a resistance to blunt damage can tank most of them. If you don't want to use EGOs to counter something someone with block and a blunt resistance is a great pick to just tank the shot. Always, and I mean always, counter the 3 coin attack however. Even if you don't beat it knocking off 1 or 2 coins will actually let you survive.

Obviously, your goal is to stagger him if you can, or simply to build up his special status effect so that he's forced to switch modes. I usually go for staggering because I find the status effect unreliable and my of my teams make use of previously mentioned status effects. Rupture also works on the right team, but most of those will be scrambling for moves that can do anything about him.

K Corp is cool, yeah, but other good tanks can also do the job well, I say that from my experience with using Dieci Rodya/R Mers

It has 1 Part most of the time so E.xtermination of G.eometrical O.rgan Meursault Chains of Others Awakening Skills are good in almost all TURNs.

Yeah, as bosses go he's probably the hardest in Hard MD runs (MFO being the most annoying). Honestly can't give any good advice beyond E.G.O spam and bringing some high-rollers in your team who can roll 30+'s or close reliably (R-Ishmael, W-Don, W-Ryoshu, TT-HongLu, N-Sinclair, etc).

Well, there is one thing you can do. Just quit. Seriously. Just quit at the boss node on floor 5, and you get 99% rewards (AKA everything minus 5 BP XP points, but that's miniscule when you got 220 or so left minus the 5). Or so I heard anyway.

Some bosses aren't worth it. Or there isn't enough time. Or it's just typical PM design with bloated HP. Always consider quitting as a option. 5 BP, or 15 minutes? What do you value more?

just bring a tank
Angela Oct 28, 2023 @ 9:23am
I mean, I consistently unga bunga him within 4 turns at most without need to do sinking cheese. MFO is harder or rather takes longer for me simply because I don't bother strategizing.

It outclashes a lot of the E.G.O. To apply paralyze you need to win clashes in the first place or outspeed it with multiple Identities, good luck with that.

Brazen bull is a singular entity.

Nah, that's Centipede. The bull is a close second though.

I see you still haven't leveled up your manliness and don't OVERCOME THE ODDS.

We have a badass over here.

The bull has a speed range of 1 to 4, not a big rng fest to get 2-3 sinners to outspeed him. especially with the buffs.

I guess I'm lucky I have all the E.G.O to the point I can just pick something high-rolling on every Sinner. Though even that is far from a guarantee when the godamn thing can roll 30+ on REGULAR ATTACKS. (You really want IDs that can roll natural 30+'s themselves here!)

Seems questionable that the Centipede is actually harder, though it does like to consistently roll 20+ on every slot, and have more then 4 attack slots, and use AOEs. So there's some merit to the idea, but eh, E.G.O can much easier outroll his 20's then the Bull's 30+ attacks.

But I guess they both suck. If it werent for the fact that I have time to kill (as this is only weekly), I'd just skip em.
