As it stands, the Brazen Bull is something you should prepare for well in advance. You want either the ability to stack up bleed, burn, or trauma incredibly high because you get at least 3 attacks on him that will not be interrupted. As for his skills, while he does hit quite hard for the most part anyone with a resistance to blunt damage can tank most of them. If you don't want to use EGOs to counter something someone with block and a blunt resistance is a great pick to just tank the shot. Always, and I mean always, counter the 3 coin attack however. Even if you don't beat it knocking off 1 or 2 coins will actually let you survive.
Obviously, your goal is to stagger him if you can, or simply to build up his special status effect so that he's forced to switch modes. I usually go for staggering because I find the status effect unreliable and my of my teams make use of previously mentioned status effects. Rupture also works on the right team, but most of those will be scrambling for moves that can do anything about him.
Well, there is one thing you can do. Just quit. Seriously. Just quit at the boss node on floor 5, and you get 99% rewards (AKA everything minus 5 BP XP points, but that's miniscule when you got 220 or so left minus the 5). Or so I heard anyway.
Some bosses aren't worth it. Or there isn't enough time. Or it's just typical PM design with bloated HP. Always consider quitting as a option. 5 BP, or 15 minutes? What do you value more?
Brazen bull is a singular entity.
Nah, that's Centipede. The bull is a close second though.
I see you still haven't leveled up your manliness and don't OVERCOME THE ODDS.
We have a badass over here.
Seems questionable that the Centipede is actually harder, though it does like to consistently roll 20+ on every slot, and have more then 4 attack slots, and use AOEs. So there's some merit to the idea, but eh, E.G.O can much easier outroll his 20's then the Bull's 30+ attacks.
But I guess they both suck. If it werent for the fact that I have time to kill (as this is only weekly), I'd just skip em.
