that being said this style of pity system is pretty common in gacha and the usual only nets 1 token per pull so assuming it takes 200 pulls isnt unexpected but we will have to wait and see what actually is like.
I am on japanese os so i can only see the japanese version of announcements, but from the phrasing of it I'm pretty sure it's based on how many times you pulled. Hence I think it's the traditional way, 200 pulls and you get pity exchange.
again people really really REAALLY forgetting the purpose of E.G.O shard's golden box.
how to get character in limbus company NOT FROM GACHA Pull ONLY. GET THE BOX & OPEN THE BOX.
Well, it will be possible to achieve more boxes per week in the second season. That said they might increase the prices for dispensions and Project Moon simps will start screeching how that's the right thing to do and other gachas have it worse.
61 every week just for 3 hard dungeons isn't what I call hardcore. You literally need 13 dungeons before the update just to get that much before.
Also, people aren't blindly defending things just for the sake of it, they're defending it because the math done shows a profit.
If there isn't a profit in terms of resources gained, people will be extremely angry. The "Project Moon simps" made an enormous fuss when exp rates were nerfed and Luxcavation was dropped. The fuss was so big that PM had to make a big apology, drop a hotfix instead of updating the game at the usual time, quintupled the rewards and give people a bunch of tickets.
PM fans are diehard but they will call out PM if they ♥♥♥♥ up, like with Ruina's original ending.
What you're describing might be true for the Korean forums, but this Steam forums is filled with Project Moon dickriding. Remember how PM has cut out EXP ticket Luxcavation's daily bonus without providing anything in return? Remember how the simps on this forum tried to justify it by something like "I-it's not like I need those tickets anyway!" or "Now I don't have a sense of urgency" or other clown arguments? I sure do remember. (Also don't try to defend this decision, you'll be behaving just like those simps).
Another thing is we already HAVE a pity system in place, but it's more akin to Sparking. Go to Dispense and gather up 400 ego shards, which is not all that hard to do with the mirror dungeons, as well as the battle pass, especially if you cough up a bit of money.
The only thing that's pretty hard to get imo are E.G.O's, due to their 1.3% drop, but once you get them, they don't pop up again, unlike 3* units.
People that believe that they can pity as f2p are drunk. That is pretty much a feature for whales which I'm personally fine with as it doesn't do any harm to f2p experiences and it improve the whales experiences and that is something that they should do more as right now spending money on pulls isn't that good while md are so damn generous with crates. There are plenty game that add features only to damage f2p experiences so they can drive people to whale instead of just improve the whale experience. While there are instance of this happening in this game, they were addressed properly and it wasn't as bad as people complain about it.
Did you miss the people that complain for the sake of complaining?
Also people are still fight for that theorically +1 on clash power, huh.
All I will say at this point, is that I think season 1 was pretty successful so I think PM deserve some benefit of the doubt here.
Let's wait until we see how these changes play out, then praise or criticize them ok? Now can we end this thread like for real.
Though I don't see how something as budget/barebones as this needs the money from Whales when the Battlepass costs a whopping 15 bucks, and we can assume atleast 60% of the players bought it.
(No way a grimdark korean gacha game like this gets many non-PM-fans playing it, most of us are gonna be hardcore PM fans who got some money for the four battlepasses.)
Edit: And we're paying them by the season (or 1/4 part of the game), too. In the end this is gonna cost 60 bucks (or more if you start whaling out). Not even LoR was that pricey. You could buy both their games with that and still have money left. Something to consider. There is no shortage of funds, to say the least.
They made their money. And the whales are providing extra funding on top for any future projects. I guess the extra grind for F2P players is still one major incentive to get a season pass, the main worry is the grind gets too much even for those who bought it.
10 bucks, price is 10 bucks. Which is far cheaper in a gacha game when it comes to every other game within its genre.
And you are paying by the season, within 3-4 months time however. FF14, WoW, and many games with subscriptions pay that much per month. Other Gachas also cost 10 (or 20 if you really want to go for the "get 10 extra levels" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥) bucks per month as Genshin, Honkai Star Rail, PTN, Arknights all have done.
Again, comparatively, this is far from greedy.
