Yeah, Genshin Impact, Punishing Grey Raven, Arknights, Star Rail, Path To Nowhere...All add up, it's a "every 10 pulls" system and is generally implemented to save time, this post is simply a warning to those who are used to the systems there since single pulls are preferred in those games due to many banners having some kind of guaranteed hit pity cap.
For example, if you are at 60 pulls and the juicy character you want is at the 70th pull, you don't use 10x pulls to instantly get the character, you go one-by-one for the off-chance of you hitting the character in your 62th, 64th, 67th or even 69th pull attempt, saving you extra pulls in the process.
Also, the PM's language in the probabilities section might be clear to some, its not crystal clear to others, especially if you are coming from the main gacha games I listed, using even under the [10 Extractions] the word of "10th extraction" can create a little misunderstanding.
Like I said, the post is simply a helpful warning to those who are unaware of their system, I would be happy if I prevented anyone from doing the mistake of doing single pulls.
thanks for the info btw.
Heck, they could skip bumping up the counter for 10-pulls and always grant a pity reward in those (as it always bumps up by exactly 10 anyway).
Ah well... PM never was known for being good at explaining. Or programming. They make good games but, Jesus Christ...
It's unfortunate that it isn't truly every 10th pull but every "10-roll", instead. One would almost think they poorly explained it to scam people thinking it's every 10th. Hope they clarify or alter it to truly be every 10th.
