So I noticed something that could be... an issue.
Max level has been raised to 35, and that's all good considering the... second level? I think? Of Canto 4 will really beat your ass if you don't have a good team. But I noticed that going from 30 to 35 took 24 golds and 3 silvers per identity, and that's an ungodly amount of grinding if you haven't stocked up before season change.

The XP scaling should be lowered, if only because new players would take forever to be able to get to level 35. Even with my stockpile I wasn't able to level all my teams up.

it wouldn't be even remotely surprising if they added a exp luxcavation for level 35 to alleviate the issue. it was pretty easy to level up to 30 with the level 30 lux, so we can just wait and see if pm adds a lvl 35 lux (if they don't though, then xp might end up being a slight issue until chapter 5 lol)
Guess they didn't get the message of Grinding not being the Greatest thing ever in 2023. There's also various signs of the Game already trying for a more Predatory approach. The 200 Pull Pity is so Cringe, how much Lunacy do they think that is :steamfacepalm:. The B.P. Rewards also seem Pathetic. Hah, and it's only Season 2.

The pity is there to ensure a freak accident doesn't occur, for the average player it just represents extra thread. If you don't pull something literally just shard it. I've gotten 5 identities through shards, it's really not hard... And yeah we'll see what the 2nd and 3rd parts of the battlepass contain.
As for the XP yeah, it was pretty crazy trying to level up my fav ID's, I really hope they make the tickets easier to get.

It's 285 crates over the course of the whole BP plus the crates off of the Paid BP.

200 Pull Pity is a failsafe, with its sole purpose being to prevent players from never being able to get the Featured character due to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ RNG. You are not supposed to focus on the Pity to get the character whatsoever, focus is still on shards.

Not really, from Tests i feel like Rates and Ratios have also become way worse than before. I now have set a General Rule on Stone to not pull more than 20 per Banner but everything feels worse in General. Nothing is surprising to me when it comes to Predatory since i come from Counterwhale PTSD lol. About the shards, i'm not wasting anything till End of Season since i'm still at 999 ( which i believe should be changed to 9999 cap ) Modules.

With the upcoming MDs giving out about 13.5-22.5 levels worth of EXP off of completion, that's about 66 crates per week by themselves not counting dailies or weeklies (which isn't accounting for 7 levels for dailies, 2 levels for weeklies). The grand total of crates you could make in a single week assuming you aren't grinding MDs is about 93 crates assuming you paid for the BP.

Every... week... That's about 186 Crates before the next banner pops up, where you need about 200 crates to make enough shards for an ID, which is far more shards than what the last season was giving in terms of rates.

Your feelings don't matter when it comes to probabilities, humans are terrible at imagining probabilities. I got 2 Rosespanners in 20 pulls, does that mean PM tripled the odds? No.

The thing with RNG is that someone is bound to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ at some point and it turns out RNGesus decided that you will the one to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by RNG.

Huh, would've probably pulled both Rosespanner IDs in the first 10 pulls if it wasn't for that gosh darn E.G.O butting it's way in and taking the second one, forcing me to roll another 10 tries... :P
(A rare case of luck I suppose. Can't say I'm complaining, gives me like 60+ pulls in inventory on whatever comes after if I really want it.)

But on the flipside of that... XP grinding's a total ♥♥♥♥♥ to do, yeah. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane. That's like 6 runs per ID, and we have a LOT of them that need the levels (atleast 2+ useful ones per Sinner, barring one or two who sadly who have only one good ID).
So they'd better provide a level 35 XP grind or reduce the scaling, or we're having a second apocalyptic Chicken/Spongy grind happen, and no-one wants a repeat of that...

I only use lv 30 ID and still able to beat my way within 10 turns. You just need proper blunt team with Good DPS no need to max level them.

No no no, you've got it all wrong. "Tickets are not an issue", "I have hundreds of them", "You don't need EXP" - are the typical answer of Project Moon simps. I hope you're ready for their influx in this thread.

more tickets would be nice, but it takes more than five levels for the difference to actually get really significant. the fourth uptie that will be coming in a some point is a more worrying prospect since that will cost both Shards and Thread, and will likely have very significant mechanical impact compared to the "you might get +1 clash power if the difference was close to a break-point" that five levels of difference makes.

i dont get the point of slowly increasing the levels over time??? just balance the game around level 30 what was the point of level 35.

what? have been doing the early portion with only lvel 25 BASIC sinners. under 10 turns
the ONly problem was the proper bull fight, have to reset ONCE because my team was Bad (Gregor was useless there), was a good challenge
and this was with the original Sanity implementation (have been busy to continue, only could dailies)
no other problem till, now, expect aspike at the dungeon so would Up everyone to 30 before entering
