Is it just me or is W Corp just really bad?
Am I going crazy or do they really look that bad? like none of them have near enough charge gain for them to be anywhere consistent enough with what they want to do, their passives that give them additional charge barely help, and W corp Don is like weirdly anti-synergistic with their sin affinities. Am I missing something?

I feel what would make the W corp characters good is having charge not be lost every turn so you could actually gain charge and use the gimmicks correctly.

Yeah, W Corp Faust and Salt aren't that great because they aren't able to gain charges efficiently, Don's the only one who can, but also the fact that she only has one skill that uses up charges.

Mentioned this in the other discussion like that one - main problem there is the ID design: R Corp Ish and W Corp Don were designed as "IDs with a lot of Charge gain and one powerful outlet", while W Corp Mr. Salt and Faust are "IDs with several Charge outlets, but able to gain it through passives", which is hella inconsistent. The patch on 6th April will come with changes to most passives which may make those two more viable than they are right now.

Best W Corp ID is obviously Don simply because of how much charge her 2nd skill gives and can easily stack up for Rip Space. Meur is solid but lacks bigger charge gain and his passive sucks ass, Faust is the worst one.

Because purpose of his Charge is for getting le funny attack buffs from that same passive. Also to gain a cool helmet :Roland:

W-corp are a bit underwhelming. Don is fine, bc she can generate enough charge with skills & pssive. Others, well, it sucks. You need to bring a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of envy skills (purple) to make them gain charge. So I just use them mostly if i need their sin affinity.
Just look up prydwen and stop talk BS. steam comment section is a mess. like DS comment section, when people dont even bother to open wiki and talk BS with straight face -_-

My W corp meursault tends to carry me more than my W corp Don, and I use all 3. Usually my W corp squad is just... W corp Faust, w Corp don, W corp saulty, Zwei Sinclair, and N corp heathcliff (granted hes only used cause of his purple synergy)

The problem with w corp is you can't be lazy with them and auto mode. You need to use their charge build up cards and passives flawlessly to even do remotely good. The tier lists as sergalius mentioned are fine to look at but if you go off whats best all the time you'll just bore yourself to death.



At least its not Shi association. (Which I do use all 3 too, I don't give a crap that is my favorite association from library of ruina and you will never change my mind no matter how bad they are in this game, granted my Shi don and ishmael tend to outdamage even ting tang.... surprisingly.)

and why you want sinking damage when enemies mob almost never goes above 10 sanity, and works very differently when fight abno

W corp is my favorite comp. I feel attacked. :htshocked:
W Don is fine. She can gain charge and she hit like a truck. She doesn't have the hardest hitting skill of the game as someone else claim but it's on the top 5. The number 1 spot is claimed by R Corp Heathcliff. 5 coin +40%fragile is hard to beat.

W Faust is not that bad. She can actually gain charge as long you trigger her passive. Her charge effect are decent and she have 176 hp. We just live in a meta where everyone want a team full offensive.

W Merusault is garbage. His charge gain is plain awful. His passive want him to take damage to gain charge with only 158 hp and on hit gain charge skill is very unlikely for it to win a clash to get the one hit effect. It's pretty clear that his kit doesn't work with human fight. He does have the speed to act as interceptor in anomalities fights but you have better options that can win clashes.
Even if we give him more charge gain or allow him to keep charge, his charge pay off is also garbage. Well, if your team is only slash, slash fragility isn't that bad but I feel mono slash seem like a very bad idea and we also assuming he does gain the charge to use it. His third instead it was totally useless before the defensive skill change as it require the target to have 2 defensive skill on use to have some effect and it's still pretty garbage after as it's a very rare situation you need defense down.
Someone may say that W Meursault does hit somehow hard but there are better options that have more chance to win clashes than someone that have awful skill coin and a miserabe 30 offense level.

Not enough charge generation is pretty much the main reason. We just need another charge battery id that could generate 2-3 charge per turn for the entire team. Or just stop charges from decaying but I like battery idea more.

Yeah would be cool to have another 000 W Corp ID that utilizies the charge mechanic for other ID's and wields similar gauntlets that Rose had which shows who's the boss of this gym. Although it's kinda unlikely to happen since there are other "factions" that don't have a single 000, like Shi, LCCB, Zwei, Liu.
