I just sort of sat there in shock after seeing how quickly he deleted over 100 HP. I beat him, yeah, but being able to one-round people immediately sounds like what people were complaining about the non-dungeon boss of chapter 2.
Well, atleast the odds of him doing notable damage is still low, even if it's never zero. Persistent indeed. Haunting even our dreams, nightmares and Mirror Dungeon runs. WILL HE EVER STOP!?
And probably hit my sinner in their fatal weakness. But ... it's still a significant deletion of a character.
Everyone at 'a bit lower level' in MD isnt small either, 5 levels for each character per level up so you were missing 10-15 levels at least. 5 levels is basically a +1 on your clash because every 5 atk over your opponent gives you an additional power...most skills average out at around 6 or 7 power before modifiers so +1 power is actually a BIG deal.
ok i throw up my hands because i have NO CLUE how you are playing MD but i literally grab 3 uptie-3s at the start and then just pick whatever uptie-3s i am offered and then click 'win rate' for every battle and i have never lost an MD. Losing a BUNCH of fights? The default characters on 'win rate' are enough to win basically EVERY fight, MD is not difficult it is just time consuming.
You'd be amazed at how much health you can lose from a bad clash. Sure, it doesn't seem like you're in danger, but when they hit you with the physical weakness AND the sin weakness at the same time? Flipping heads on all the attacks? Before getting enough levels to beef your character out?
That stings. And it will continue to sting until you either get a healing EGO gift, or pass through a healing event, because levelling up will keep you proportionally in range of stagger.
All cards on the table, it was Sinclair. Sinclair did not have his EGO ready, so I legit had the choice of "basic attack that can't win, and advanced attack that really can't win".
