Their singularity is Lock. Wish power is probably a singularity of an already broken wing.

Who's to say they didn't? Have you seen how many times a 45 sanity character filps heads?

i hope it got covered on dante notes.
I believe we had it confirmed that each corp has a main singularity but can have others that some may or not know about. Just the main singularity can't be stolen or you break the rules of the city
So J corps main singularity is locks, which makes sense as vaults for casinos. While wish luck is kinda just around.
We probably won't see it clearly stated, unless we get a game that tackles purely multiple singularities as the main point. As we normally focus on one each game with a glance at one or two, like R corp being clones or W corps supposed Singularity.
It might though have notes on what seems like the main singularity in its own right for this game, the ability to become a different reality than yourself as its oddly never talked about, but is clearly happening .
it was noted back in Ruina that each wing has their big one singularity that made them rise to what they are, but they're also able to acquire and use other singularities from fallen nests and elsewhere as long as they go through the proper channels and don't violate copyright laws in the process. W-Corp for one was confirmed to have bought a second singularity but it's widely believed by outsiders that it's their original main one.

Wishpower seems to be an all-or-none thing as Dante just straight used all the wishpower at once from the lightest touch.

Once applied, it also isn't a conscious decision as winning those slots wasn't Dante's intention.

Wishpower would be absolutely ♥♥♥♥ in a battle, you'd spend all your luck immediately at the start and would have no luck left later. Its usage is probably more meant for gambling rather than combat.

Plus more than 50% of the sinners have poor impulse control, the wishpower would be gone within an hour.

the game explained that wishpower was a singularity from a past corp that became general use, Lock is it's current singularity that locks things up indefinitely.

Maybe they can't unlock it afterwards?

Which means if they locked the golden bough, they wouldn't be able to access it themselves.

That's my guess anyway.

Which begs the question : if F corp's singularity were to be used on something locked by J Corp's singularity, which one would win : would the thing be locked forever or unlocked?
If F corp wins, that would give them a significant advantage over J corp, and vice versa.

corp can cooperate between each other. J corp can ask F corp to unlock stuff. and J corp can give their benefit as well

Because the facility we raided isn't in J Corp's nest, it's in the backstreets.

Singularities are really expensive and the casino was actively using the areas around the Bough, cutting it off would be a pretty poor choice.

It could of been locked before, considering we have the fairy singularity that opens locks. We also have different levels of both lock and unlock, depending on how much you pay the corp for it. L Corp might of payed for a minor one and the casino or maybe even Sonya could of got a fairy for the lock. There is also the chance that there was just no need for a lock as the abnos acted as guard dog, so no need to pay for a J Corp lock, right?
