Which one should I get?

R-corp Reindeer or Fire Butterfly EGO?

I just want some opinions on which of the two is viable in the long run.

R Ishmael is good, but she's not strictly better than her other id's. As for Ardor EGO, umm, depends on how many shop EGO's you are missing tbh. If it's just 1 or 2, I wouldn't bother. 3+ yeah sure.

R Ishmael is resistant to blunt but weak to slash, uses evade, is great at inflicting blunt damage and reducing enemy sanity at the cost of needing to build up charge (which is relatively easy for her since her first and second attacks give charge) to use her most powerful attack (mindwhip) effectively (if she doesn't have enough charge, she'll attack indiscriminately, possibly killing teammates.).

Ardor blossom star (I'll just call it abs, cause Ishmael's definitely got some good abs) inflicts burn equal to wrath res (3 wrath skills chained together equals 3 burn), inflicts heavy pierce damage, and raises the enemy stagger threshold by 40 percent of the damage dealt if it lands heads (if it lands heads, the skill power jumps from base 19 to a whopping 41 along with inflicting 3 burn on 3 random enemies.)

Whichever one you chose is up to you, but I'd say R Ishmael since burn isn't too powerful at the moment, unless they later add more burn identities or ego.
Just make sure R Ishmael always has enough charge, otherwise say goodbye to Heathcliff.

Go for ego honestly. I don't really see any point in her 000 id other than mind whip memeing.

ego is honestly better, her normal 000 is just statistically worse than W corp don entirely

I'd always say Identity > E.G.O. Identities offer Attack Types and Sin Types, letting you optimize for any kind of battle and exploit most weaknesses (which helps with grinds or BS bosses like Ch. 3), while E.G.O is just a above-average attack with a passive that only triggers post-usage.

Though this particular Identity is kinda meh, indeed. I find myself using her LCCB Identity more often instead. Wonder if they'll ever buff her R-Corp Identity. They all kinda suck besides her LCCB Identity.

if you play Shi section ishmael, go get that butterfly E.G.O. it's one of the best E.G.O that deal a lot of damage but eat a lot of resource. shi section ismael can farm resource for the E.G.O.

if you want her id go ahead, i do recomend play her shi section or LCCB GLOCK Mael which is much muuuuuuuch better anywhere.

get R ishmael not wrong neither, she is strong but you need to wait for 10 charge just like W don,..........to use her 3rd skill or she will murder your team.

if you plan getting R ishmael just take it as investment who knows later project moon make telepole E.G.O for Ismael that make instant 10 charge.

w don and ishmael is different, W don is slash, R ishmael is Blunt. if you have w don it's okay pick R ishmael.

confuse ? pick waifu or rare E.G.O Skill. i will pick waifu anytime.

People should always add "Wdon with Telepole EGO". Without telepole, and especially in non expanding skillbar fights, Wdon is mid at best. Chef Ryo and N sinclair out damage them in almost every instance barring weakness fights. Their clashing power is also trash. With static skillbar fights R ishmael out does Wdon almost every time as well. W.don just have horrible skill1, and they spams it at you. A boss fight with 3-4 skill1 in a row basically makes them straight up useless.

W don is slash and R ishmael is Blunt, they different. you cannot bring W don to enemy or bosses that resist slash.

R ishmael is strong when you need Blunt damage.

I don't think I'm a fan of an ID that kills their own teammates outside of EGO overclocking....

She only targets your own units if you use it before she has 10 charge. It's not as unwieldy or as bad as people make it out to be. The vast majority of "accidents" involving mindwhip come from people mashing the "win rate" or "damage" button and not paying attention to how much charge she has.

Before N Corp Sinclair came out I would honestly say she was the best blunt damage dealer in the game. She only has two drawbacks: she's not autofriendly and her charge gain is inconsistent. If you want to use her you need to pay attention to how much charge she has and accept that using mind whip without 10 charge is a gamble.

She will never kill your own units as long as you pay attention.

if we ever get an ID in the future that improves ally charge gain like Don's Telepole EGO I think she'll be very good. The only thing really holding her back right now is how inconsistent her charge gain can be.

R-Ishy is not the sharpest tool in the shed, so I'd by EGO just to lock it out from the pool and increase your overall probability.

Telepole don isn't enough? It can provide charge to ALL id's based on lust, and considering that 4/5 charge users have lust skills, it is already quite powerful. Enough is enough. Better for them to drop those Cane Office Id's someday, I'd love to play as ressurecting Mr. Captialism again.
