which ego is the best ?

i currently think hex nail and ledgerdemain best ego this season. idk about others. i dont have a lot of ego most of them seems useless

Gregor's Legerdemain for me.
While it may not the best ego, it has very low cost that make it super spammable, not to mention it has AoE hits and may inflict paralyze on multiple enemies.

Legerdemain - cheap, easy to fuel, and effective
To Páthos Máthos - cheap, great clash values, and can be entirely fuelled by Outis's surprisingly good base ID.
Representation Emitter - If you can get it out early it's great, it can help boost sanity to max quickly, and gives Faust +2 clash power for the first 10 turns.
Fluid Sack (Faust) - heals entire team (hp AND sanity), and damages a lot of enemies, what's not to like.
Telepole (Don) - Can Immediately charge rip space
Bodysack - cheap, turns Heath into a murder machine

Even though Leger doesn't do crazy ass dmg it's insanely easy to make a Spam Team for it and G Greg Himself is really hard to kill with Tier 3 Lantern to Boot. Faust's Fluid Sack is technically miles better due to all the crazy recovery but it's not as easy to spam it so you gotta know when to use it. Ebony is also Insanely Good ( Specially on Certain Enemies/Bosses ) but you also have to know when to use it because of the High Cost. Both Outis and Rodya Base Egos are insane when u use them on the right Enemy/Turn despite not being BP Ego. If you are just worried about SP constantly dropping Faust Base Ego is the Best Solution in the Game. If you're trying to abuse R.Cliff you are gonna spam Bodysacks every turn. I think the only Egos that suck the Big One are the Low Dmg High Cost Ones with easily Replicable Status ( That's why Yi Sang is one of the Worst/Weakest Chars atm ). There are so much better Char ID with Fragile, Burn and Paralyzes. The Attack Type Fragility Debuffs are too Niche to be that useful and Defense Buff is redundant as Hell given how P.M. has set up the Core Gameplay for this Game. If they come up with a Monster Riposte Core Play I.D. somehow then this could change in the Future. I'd say a Beefy Monster like NMeur was a good candidate for his Core to be Counter Masochist Dmg since they could've easily added a Taunt Skill or Passive to redirect Enemy Targeting too because his Speed sucks Ass and it would also make sense with the KCorp Regeneration Lore going on. No one would care if he had Good Coin/Clash Values or not if he was just about the Crazy Warranted Counter Dmg. And yeah, his Base Ego is the cheapest and most effective "Single Target" Debuff in the whole Game. One Day we may see P.M. not being Lazy and fixing his WCorp.

1. Basic Faust Ego. Unironically, this one is the most useful and versatile of them all. Cheap, aoe and buffs sanity. Press this early in the dungeon/story level and you will roll heads for days.
2. Legerdemain. Even cheaper aoe with paralyze and maggot passive, and a lot of characters to charge it up. Tremor is kind of meh. Combine wiht Ebony Stem for a lot of damage.
3. Chains of others. No brainer here, the multitude holds tightly. Nullifies any boss battle, usually.
4. Pursuance/Fluid Sac. Can't chose one here. Pursuance is a great single target blunt and emergency heal that can turn the tables in case your battle went south. Fluid sac is an upgraded Repression Emitter with hp heal. You actually can make a team focused solely on faust's egos for crazy damage numbers, at least in the story non-abno stages.
5.Bodybag. Nullifies ch3, and popped early in any fight makes Heartcliff a powerhouse.
6. Statue ego on Outism. Decend damage, great for any Lust-heavy loadup. Considering how many hard-hittinh lust users are out there, good synergy.
7. Ebony Stem. Usually a meme ego, as spamming legerdemain is cheaper, but still packs a punch.
8. Crow's eye. Chains of others 2.0 . Can be good in fights where you need to carefully plan clashes and want to be ahead on speed, like the 4 doggo fight, or need to costantly debuff an opponent. Combine with chains to make any boss battle a joke.
9. Get beat hurtly. For a long fight if you want to give your slow MrSalt a bit of speed and power. Or a meme thing to cosplay Fervent Beats.

Everything elese is kind of meh or used for kek's only. Telepole don seems to be good, but I don't have it.

Heathcliff telepole would probably be lower in that list if it wasn't attached to rabbit heathcliff and rabbit heathcliff wasn't attached to literally everything I play.
