kurokumo hong lu is good speedrun. idk about ting tang ones

Kuro is better for auto winrate, ting is "arguably" better for manual because game can't calculate his mutilate damage at all and will just throw another throat slit in queue instead.

But even with manual, the difference is almost non existent. Just make sure you have knife ryushu and r corp heath in another two spots and they can one turn first floor just fine with kuro hong lu as third id.

A few days after railway started. It went from having a max 70% chance to roll heads at 45 sanity to 95% (Applies the other way around too, with 5% chance at -45 sanity).

Having used both; I feel like Ting-Tang is more fun to use, but Kurokumo is enough of a powerhouse that I wouldn't recommend burning crates to replace him. Maybe when the end of the season is coming up and you want to get better value for shards by spending them early, but there's no rush.

Tbh TinTong Hong Lu is kind of meh. I'd buy Liu or just save or burn the shards. Kurokumo is way better. And in terms of damage and team utility, N-word Faust, Seven Outis, R-corp Heartclif, Chief Ryoshu and W-corp Don outdo him considerably. I've got him from some random ticket somewhere in march and never used since, couldn't stick him in. Well, maybe as ego resource generator.

Even if you wanted to use Ting Tang for Pierce Dmg there are other Pierce Monsters that offer a lot more. His Support Skill is DMG Buff though so it's also something to consider when you are not using HonLus in Battle. That's why i say that you need Both.

Tingtang's skill 3 can sometimes kill two enemies in a single use IF you win the coinflip. Ensuring he gets the killing blow to proc the extra attack isn't always feasible though. Using him, as you might have guessed from the ID's casino theme, is a gamble. His damage is fine otherwise, but I will confess that I do not use him a ton. If your goal is raw damage it's hard to beat R Heath.

Kurokumo is much more consistent and generally puts out pretty good damage too. His skill 2 just being able to repeat itself if the enemy has low bleed stacks is rather good. He's also pretty good at stacking bleed too. Best 2* ID in the game imo.

They're both worth uptying but as far as spending shards go I would just wait for the next banner since it should be the last one for Season 1. Do your pulls on that one and see who you get. Then you can decide between N Corp Sinclair and the two IDs you've mentioned and spend your Shards and boxes accordingly.

One last thing to consider is that Tingtang is a season 1 ID and Kurokumo is a non-seasonal ID. Meaning you can buy Kurokumo from the shop during next season, but Tingtang will be gone until season 3 after the end of season 1. Both of them will still be available from extraction though.
