How to unlink my google account from my Steam limbus and link another account?

I wanna delete my google account but sadly it's already linked to Steam Limbus. How do I unlink my old google account and link a new email address to my Steam version without losing my Steam Limbus account?

Its permanent, you can't.

So can't be changed like forever? People sometimes change their email addresses and delete old ones... Can't believe the devs didn't take that into account

If you merged a Google account to your Steam account-
You can DELETE the account through the game options.

Then you can merge another Google account to your Steam account after 7 days.

I think it's safe to assume this would also delete the account from your Google account as well.

I merged the Steam Limbus onto the Google Limbus, and now I want to unmerge it because I'm deleting my gmail (Google service) account. Is there a way to achieve this without deleting my Steam game account?

in that case you should try moving the steam account to a new gmail account.
Did it to my Pixiv account as it used a Hotmail account i don really use anymore.

Yap. its there, click in the details of account > Contact info > CHange email
Then you can delete old gmail account safly

How the limbus safe File will react i am not sure.
My guess is that, in case its was created tropught google and then merge to steam, that it will stay as the Steam Safe file.
Should ask other if that also become your concern

Game doesn't care what account your steam or pixiv uses. Once you merge google account that already has game id associated with it to steam account the merge is permanent. Period. They even warn you about it. The only thing you can do is delete steam account (actually not sure how, they removed that option in game settings) and create a new one.

This is possible because I did this.

First thing you need to do is to login your gmail account where your steam is merged to any Mobile device or PC Emulator

Then go to the the " Settings > Accounts > Close Account " This option is not available in steam version.

Once you confirmed the Closure of the account Steam will prompt you that your account is for deletion, its either you will wait for it or cancel the deletion of your account.

It will be 5 or 7 days If I remember correctly.
Once deleted remove Limbus from your steam account.
Then get it back and Login

If its not working or giving you error wait at least 24hrs then Login again.

I mean he wants to do it without losing his account progress I assume. This is pretty much just roundabout way to delete the entire account (good to know how to do it btw, it can't be done in game settings anymore).
