Honest comments: I feel like the buffed stats aren't that bad. It was a bit overwhelmed at first but I still manage to clear it under 10 turns easily on the first half of the content.
HP buff is actually a good counter against identities with guns. I'm glad I couldn't just use R corp Heath to cheese through every stations like I did daily in the MD.
I read through replies in the thread and it's possible that some didn't prioritize their decisions really well in some fights. Regenerating Inquisitors fight is okay if you're getting patient and whack them down one by one. It's what you'd normally do to its normal version in other content as well, since raising all of their rage buff at the same time is not a good idea. HP regen is just an icing on the cake.
Some heavy attacks are meant for you to utilize the guarding mechanics. They already fixed them and it works like a charm. You can just put a character resisting the hard attack on guard and pull the aggro on them. I especially enjoy using N corp Meursault here and have him tank attacks here and there and let other identities focus on the damage dealing.
K corp guards though. I probably hate this one the most. It's not quite possible to bring the ones that weak to slash down in one turn I believe. Is the way to go only just to wait out on the 3 turn regen and fight them properly after that?
I don't know what to feel about the hidden resistance/weakness. I'll admit it's fun on the first run going blind and try various things on the enemy, but also think it'd be more fair to just provide us information on the enemies.
Since it doesn't punish us in anyway on giving up on the fight. You can just get in, auto attacking to see weakness and get out to build a new team. But why would we have to do that when it's better to just improve our QoL by just provide the information.
The last station fight is nice. A good approach to abno fights. I want to see more of something like this in the future.
Overall it's a fun content for me. Things to fix here and there but not as bad as someone might paint it out to be, at least for me.
Edit: I think LoR fights are a lot more tedious than this. It's what I didn't like about LoR. I legit don't get how someone seemed to love LoR gameplay so much but then be complaining the new content is tedious.
Yeah, it's a bit tedious that the information is always hidden, though considering that there are only 3 new abnos, everyone hed plenty of time to find out how to do with Ichtyd or Dog. Or how the N-word inquisitors work, which follow the same mechanic in MD/Story dungeon, but anway. I am talking more about ppl who get frustrated bc they can't steamroll the thing in 120 turns in their 1-2 tries. I can't figure out their problem.
Hope for more challenging content in the future!
I enjoyed it a lot (except node 10 ahahaha, a bit too rough) and it gives me hope for future challenging content.
sorry dude i have R heathcliff and im not demolishing anything here
The best EGO to max thread is Ebony Stem from Outis, I thought this skill was overpriced at first, but on battles with multiple enemies or parts it is INSANELY good. Gregor can also carry you hard spamming lemegeton.
All in all, I think they could consider reducing the hp of some bosses to 90% or 85% of their original values to make things faster, but honestly, the rewards that you get are insane. This mode forces you to get good at the game and resist the itch to press auto battle.
You don't need a full rooster of 000. The one thing that I say that helped me a lot was max threading some EGOs since they were responsible for saving my ass countless times.
