Uptie Priority?

Wanted to ask what I should be prioritizing for uptying.

If my math is right (and I'm sure it's not) I'd be getting about enough thread to uptie 1 000 unit per week from daily Luxcavations. But Egos cost thread too, maybe I should be prioritizing that since it's a constant? But some of the higher tier Egos seem prohibitively expensive in terms of affinity cost, so maybe I'm just better sticking with the base egos and spending it on identities? But some of the newer identities seem much better, so if I spend thread on a weaker identity I don't use then I've wasted it... and...

Yeah, you can see where this is going. Perhaps I'm a little too "in my head" about the costs here. Wanted to know what people think the priority should be for thread spending without too much regret.

there's enough factors at play that the tier list is pretty useless actually. Damage types and resistances matter a lot depending on the fight, the tier list shown almost completely neglects EGO as a factor, the only thing considered is "does this ID enable their base EGO on it's own"
the fact is, if you took a team based on that tier list into the current endgame (Kromer) they'd just be in a suffering pit because "Oops, all Bleed~" is not a valid strategy against an opponent that hard counters Bleed.

You are right that in some ways, tier lists aren't useless, but they aren't necessarily the most useful tool either. By nature of a gacha game, no one will automatically pull 's' tier IDs from the getgo and more often than not, tier lists seems to evaluate only certain aspects of the game rather than the game as a whole.

Can it be useful? Sure, if you have no idea how the game works, but if you do understand how the game works, how to abuse mechanics and bring everything to your advantage, then the use of a tier list drops considerably because you can make almost anything work successfully.

both allow you speed run mirror dungeon like real beast

(if dont plan to buy bp then just spam thread dungeon instead and uptie everyone, priority dont matter)

after this just uptie top tier character of your choice
000 faust is beast, 000 ryoshu is strong crasher that bring many utility and bleed count
000 gregor and his legerdemain ego good is very strong

the rest is whatever u want, not much make different
there are something that strong but take time setting up or having to manual like 000 don/ish
or just support or aoe ego or whatever u want

EGOs: Check the EGO if it says "AOE" then uptie it, if it doesnt dont bother. 000 Gregor with Legerdemain, 000 Heathcliff with Telepole, 000 Faust who already has Emitter: these are all top level identities with fantastic EGOs.

Identities: 000 or Kurokumo Hong Lu, 000 Rodion/Faust/Heathcliff/Gregor. All these identities are very solid, clash well, etc.

Tierlists: A general guide but kind of misleading for example 000 Sinclair is rated S in a certain tierlist..yet even THE WRITER says something like "if you build around it it is an S otherwise you can drop it down a few ranks"...ok so an S rank that needs help then otherwise it is super average?...000 Gregor doesnt need anything he is good to go (an absolute tank that can keep healing himself up with good clashing, damage, speed and hp? Complete godsend in a MD for sure. There are no weaknesses here Gregor is a unit), 000 Hong Lu is an absolute damage machine without anyones help you dont need it to build him....so read the fineprint, the general tiers are a little off, "great unit if you build around it" doesnt work if you dont HAVE the right identities whereas Hong Lu doesnt give a f__k what else you have so it is just plain great.
