but lore wise, it's impossible because very Very expensive, im not joking its really REALLY EXPENSIVE.

but talk about guns.

but i wonder we will be have sniper character / Long Range Rifle with abnormality bullet that deal 10.000 red damage.

and support Healing Character with Hp bullet later ? imagine a healer shoot a glock at you. lolz

that will be very funny.

No, there's no point buffing something that is already strong. Their playstyle motto is rushing ♥♥♥♥ down, not having long sustaining fire power. R Corp Heath is one of the strongest 000 ID's currently in the game, he can mop the floor with enemies even without ammo. If you're running out of ammo on like 2nd wave of enemies let's say, then you're doing something wrong or not being efficent with your magazines, basically blowing every bullet out on random trash while somebody else could be delivering the final blow/clash. Same goes for LCCB Ishma, she's plenty strong. The only ammo reload that might happen is if we get to see Thumb soldato's.

According to the story, guns are heavily taxed by the Head in the City due to, by irony, of how deadly they were. Library of Ruina, this game's prequel, showed so in the Full-stop Office reception, where it will be first player came across guns. This made many people using melee weapons instead of guns. Unless one is well armed and funded like R Corp or know how to make one's own bullets like the Thumb, having a gun is pretty much a hassle.

Not just that, but according to Roland in LoR, many strong combatants were strong enough to the point that they can just hit the bullets away.

stfu library had a reloading mechanic + lore wise limbus is rich as ♥♥♥♥ to be able to get the group between districts and nests to begin with
a few bullets wont even dent their budget

I've only completed chapter 2, but just because Limbus Company is rich, doesn't mean they share that with our team of defective scrubs.. How often do they complain about barely being able to afford food?

Not to mention clearly the Company isn't just interested in making sure we succeed at all cost or Verg would be coming with us instead of just sitting around and sassing us, given he can solo threats that the entire team of Sinners would get spanked by.

The ♥♥♥♥ are you even talking about? My comment was solely from gameplay perspective, not lore unless you got the quote wrong. Ammo capacity was never an issue, it only is to people that have attention span of a fly and forget about bullet counter icon after 5 seconds. Again, only Thumb goons from LoR had that ability.

it does not mean the developer cannot make support E.G.O or ID that can reload ammo for party tho. just wait and see.

ammo not issue, LCCB ishmael and R Corp Bunny Heatcliff literally overpowered in chapter 3. shooting those K corp and N corp like regular thug in the morning then eat breakfast.

even without ammo LCCB ishmael can debuff enemies with attack down.

on Rabbit cliff, just dont spam the green skill that spends a lot of ammo, or even just opt to evade when you don't need to waste it for the next wave.

And Ishmael has a non ammo spending skill that you can use if you don't want to waste it just yet.

there are plenty of ways to conserve ammo, spending ammo on a 1 hp enemy is pretty much your own fault at that point.
Livy Mar 19, 2023 @ 9:37am
The ammo units are currently still quite strong even without ammo.
LotusBlade Mar 19, 2023 @ 10:44am
You can use EGO instead of ammo turn.
CarThief Mar 19, 2023 @ 10:55am
All I got was Ishmael's, but I see the ammo as a strong but limited resource you can use to really rush down a enemy fast, I mean, you litterally hit it like 4-5 times in a row and likely stagger it round 1.

Makes units like that effective in short battles, but pretty meh for long slogs, which seems like a fair trade-off. Especially if you want to use those types of units to grind short battles for XP and whatnot.

Lore-wise, I wonder how something as mediocre as Limbus can even get their hands on guns financially. They're supposed to be ultra-rare, deadly, and limited in ammo (unless you're R-Corp, they redefine "more dakka"). But then again, they did have those gun fixers in LOR... Ah well, weird.
A Wispy Willy Mar 19, 2023 @ 10:59am
It's because high-quality guns are what's ultra-rare, since they've only got 4-5 licensed workshops that can make those.

Otherwise decent guns are just rare, since it requires workshops to get a basic firearms license for a niche clientele.
SpearOfLies Mar 19, 2023 @ 11:02am
LCCB Ishmael is okay. She still work as support unit without bullet.
Rabbit Heartcliff is one of if not the strongest identity in the game currently.
He clashes better than 90% of the characters and he is or closest to the highest dps in game.
Even without bullet he is above half of identities.

There are identity that need buff more than them.

Gun is not rare, just very very expensive, same goes for bullet because it’s heavily regulated
Even the Full-stop office (first gun encounters) have to count every bullet they use

Limbus is the new L corp, it’s just the B branch (us) is just a bunch of shady nobody with the main office is the bus, the C branch have more leeway in budget that the two helper can have gun and cash to burn
Even in LCCB Ishmael story, Limbus is financed by some bigwig so they don’t have to save money on bullet for the company
Reptiloid Mar 19, 2023 @ 11:05am
This would make bullets too OP. If my R-corp Heartcliff whom I always ramp up to 5+ speed and buffs thanks to a party with a lot of anger(red) and throwing in an occasional default ego of his, would have some reload mechanic, every fight would be decided from the beginning.

And besides, they are Identities drawn from the mirror. How tf should Limbus company get their hands on R-corp's automatic rifle magazines for example?
