I am almost certainly sure that this is not true, make sure that you aren't redirecting 'i will claim your life' with another sinner who has lower speed than the one using ego, since redirections will always give priority to the most recent one assigned. (Basically, after using ego to redirect 'i will claim your life' and making sure it has the yellow arrows signifying the clash, don't assign any other skills to the slot kromer has 'i will claim your life' set in.)
