i am running full charge team. is he worth as DPS at least ? or can it take hit ?

+1 Base power. and coin 2's effect becomes better
Skill 3 gets +1 coin power, and +2 rupture
defense gets +2 base, and 1 more shield charge. and becomes a Pride slot
Passive gets extra +1 haste at 10 charge

Considering he's not that expensive, I guess you can if you're good on shards. There are better charge id's to uptie, like R Ishmael, or telepole on W-don, Ryoshu, but this works

W Hong Lu is a better support for charge team than any non charge unit, that's what the point of this thread is.

Maybe for MD3 or future content, there'll be an argument for uptieing 00 IDs?

I think L Faust and 7 Ryoshu are worth uptie4ing in the game's current state though.

As for W Honglu... well, if u really like charge teams, then I guess? He seems decent at uptie3 though, and his uptie4 isn't a massive upgrade but it's not a minor one either.

I've been using him for some time already, and he's.... fine. Fine-er if you have DS, but nothing really outstanding. Kinda tanky, can roll some stuff (look out for that 4-16 s2), but, again, nothing outstanding. If you really don't care about roleplay as charge guy or to have an additional tank on your side, just use TT Hong, he is much more useful

With ds his speed will go from 4/6 to 4/10 which in return allows him to go first next turn to apply fragile for the entire team.

If all u care about is dps and clash power hes mid at best.

Shi Ishmael... people will though you live in old world and didn't know they already release new 000 like Liu & Boatworker since months ago. Or you live a life that all your ID stay in death-door all the time to trigger Shi's effect?

Hard Mirror dungeons. You need at least 2 00 identities (and you'll have an easier time if you have a few more for backups just in case).

Also liu teams, burn is awesome.
Also LCBB Ishmael.
Also Lob Corp Faust is better than all of her identities ( besides seven, haven't tested seven) (yes better than N corp even, fight me).

As for OP question : W corp hong lu is really solid. Literally. he's really tanky. He's a bit hard to start up (K corp hong lu is probably better overall, but W corp lu is still decent if you don't have K corp).
His skill 1 is trash though, but really good defensive skill and skill 2. Skill 3 kicks as* once you have enough charges.

Is boat ishmael even that good anyway? Outside of sinking team, I found her rather underwhelming personaly (compared to liu or LCBB).

And how exactly this counters my point? Yep, this is an ID that exist since release, and? This means that all ppl out there have something better? I see you kinda forgot about Kurokumo hong lu, bc you can't realy throw anythign against the fact that he's hella more useful than many 000 out there. Not to mention ppl here giving other examples of other decent 00 that make id's like blade lineage Sinclair, Nail Meur or a recent 000 Heartcliff pale in comparisson. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ peasant here, thinking that more tiers means automatically better, wanker.
