Dimensions don't dictate the performance output. I could run games like Star Rail or Genshin on my laptop, but as soon as I try to launch games like Grime on the same system it is very likely to fall apart.
LC is pure 2D. Not to mention that grime looks far more complex, so I don't agree with your point
LC isn't pure 2D, if you move around the camera or use EGO, you can see that the background is entirely 3-dimensional while it splashes 2D sprites on top of the area.
Unlike games other people mention which there company have experience deal with gacha or online game before those game people mention release.
