At 0 sanity, coins have 50-50% chance of rolling head/tail. Each positive sanity adds 1% chance for head and subtract 1% chance for tail, and the reverse is true. You dont have sinking ID so you cant really lower her sanity, and thus it's imperative to keep it at 0 for as long as you can. Then you have much better chance to keep on winning clashes.
That aside, you seems to have understand the rest of the mechanic. Kill the flowers ASAP, save a big EGO for her big AoE, use someone that have powerful skill and also available EGO for the duel, that's it.
Well... in terms of general tips:
1) Keep in mind that N-clair works different from everyone else in your team (meaning - he clashes and deals damage better if his sanity is low, as opposed to everyone else, who wants high sanity. Can be somewhat easily lowered by using E.G.O.s)
2) You really NEED to win clashes against AoE.
E.G.O.s are good for that, so manage your resources to get them on ready ASAP.
On turn one, though...
Your team is very tanky, but nobody who can actually clash very well, except for 7 Ryoshu, who can be an absolute clash monster on high sanity.
Try getting her to lvl 35 (she's almost there, which is why I'm suggesting it. Shi Ish can also clash somewhat well, but ... not on lvl 18). Might make a difference, seriously.
3) If there is no way you can win a clash against a non-AoE attack - you can still redirect it, provided you have enough speed. Meaning - if it targets someone with 4 stacks, and you REALLY don't want them to get the fifth - just use someone with higher speed (and fewer stacks) to clash against that attack.
They'll lose the clash and take damage (might be a vise decision to use a defensive skill to take less damage), but the person on the verge of being turned into a bush will be able to act next turn.
... you also redirect an AoE attack, of course, but... it's an AoE attack. It might still hit its initial target.
4) Faust's base E.G.O. restores sanity for the whole team (which is good for everyone, EXCEPT N-Clair), except Faust herself (I believe) which can be used to counteract this particular boss (as she lowers sanity through her blooming stacks)
5) Might actually be a somewhat good idea to deliberately get hit (to an extent) an N-clair. Because then you'll get blooming stacks. Which will lower sanity. Which is good for him (taking damage isn't good for anyone, however, so good management is key)
-Faust isn't great, dont invest too much. Grip version is best so far, lobotomy corp (and W corp if you run charge team) are decent.
-Ryoshu is good, but any of the 000 (especially the new W corp) are insane.
-Hong Lu is alright. W corp is better at clashing by quite a bit, kurokumo deals more damage. Ting Tang leader and K corp are still the best overall.
-N heath is meh unless you run full Ncorp team. Shi is quite bad, only barely usable at below 50% HP. If you're saving shard boxes, dispense the Rabbit version. One of the best ID in the game so far.
-Shi Ishmael is good. Decent normally, an absolute beast below 50% HP. Outclassed by Liu version, which is then outclassed by Reindeer, but she's a solid 00 regardless.
-Grip Sinc is the best of the lot.
-Zwei greg is solid tank. Best gregor ID so far. Just dont expect too much damage from him. Is Legerdemain EGO available yet? It's pretty nice to build around.
Others:
-Spicebrush Yi Sang is solid pick.
-W corp Don Q is powerful. Dispense ASAP.
-Meursault, ignore him. IDs are bad, his only use is if you have Pursuance EGO.
-Rodya, N corp are alright if you're running full nailers. Rosespanner deals a lot of damage, but clash is on the weaker side.
-Outis is... meh. G corp and Seven both clash alright, but the best part of her is the Ebony Stem EGO.
2. so how to destroy those spice bush plant ? weaker skill 1 clash the plants, strong skills clash all dongbaek attack.
3. like other people said borrow strong id from friends.
4. when duel mode clash her with E.G.O to make it easier if you cannot win clash..
she is very easy or extremely easy when her plant stop spawning when you destroy them all.
So, don't lose. Pick some strong clash ID or try evade skills. Kill flower for a large SP boost (+10 for one and +5 for full team)
ehem ehem borrow N Corp sinclair or L Corp Heatcliff.
On the other hand, if you looking for a high risk, high reward setup then W Don with Telepole is amazing for this fight. Great damage and clashes, can easily to duel Dongbaek with skill 2 alone. And if you have good resource management, you can use Telepole constantly to ensure that rip space will have 100% uptime. Do it right and you can end the fight in 10-12 turn.
