Worth rolling purely for E.G.O during banners?

So, I got all the IDs and the big pile of Lunacy is kind of burning a hole in my wallet, but I'm torn between giving it a go to get all E.G.O's as their related banners appear, or just building it up for a rainy day (AKA extractions suddenly start taking 70-100 pulls or more).

So yeah, keep it, or are the odds for E.G.O Extractions sensible enough during banners? Heck, what would be the odds (and average expected pulls), anyway? And should they always be 10-pulls or just 1-pulls? (I have my doubts the 10-only pity reward increases the odds of it drawing E.G.O.)

Seemed right to ask with the upcoming Outis banner, not that the E.G.O seems great but it'd be one more for the collection if it only takes like 10-30 pulls or so (I got like 110 pulls on me anyway, with the Lunacy + Tickets).

I don't value (most of) the E.G.O very highly though, being just flashy special attacks with temporary on-use passives. Only a absolute handful are particularly useful (Telepole Don, Pursuance Meursalt, etc, still gotta get the former, might Shard it).

eh i just skip ego banners, only ego id roll for is event ego maybe but even then i rather just shard them or wait to spook them (for non event ego). i too have all ego and id aside from the new heath cuz he seemed bad.

Skip E.G.O you will regret your life rolling for E.G.O.

Roll for Strong ID as much possible, and Buy ID in store / wipe the strore with your E.G.O shards.

i did roll for E.G.O & buy 3 E.G.O Long time ago at season 1 then regret it.

I'd suggest you just save up for and buy season/event exclusive E.G.O in shard store if you really want them, whilst exclusively getting seasonless E.G.O. like dimension shredder randomly through extraction. By Level 38 of (free) BP + a week or two of doing mirror dungeons, you should have enough shards for a single 3* ID or E.G.O.

They release new ID every often. I'm sure it going to empty your Lunacy in a few week if not month.

Ah, thanks, I had a hunch it would sadly be a situation like that. Guess the enhanced droprates for E.G.O mean nothing, and they're definitely not worth getting over IDs, yeah.

Well, if they keep releasing new IDs every 2-3 weeks then yeah I may as well keep my Lunacy for those and hope for the best. I'll probably keep my boxes too (got like 300 right now) until the end of the season where at that point it's use em or lose em, if I don't end up needing to Shard anything before then.

The odds of getting EGO at all isn't changed, so there's no reason to pull for them since you can't get duplicates, and 90% of the point of rate-up banners is better odds of avoiding duplicates.

Well damn, why'd they even put the E.G.O's on the banner if the odds don't increase for them? That's just very scammy. (Not that the ill-explained pity drop that only applies to 10-pulls isn't scammy as hell too...)

The deal is that if you get an EGO there's a higher chance it'll be one of the rate-ups, so if you want Salty's Pursuance specifically you'd have better odds of getting it from the Meursalt banner, it's just that if you've already got most most of the EGOs in the pool that odds boost means a lot less, and if it's the only EGO you don't have it can't change anything because the odds of an EGO you extract being Pursuance is already guaranteed.

Most egos kinda suck, so unless you're missing something that takes id's onto a whole new lvl, like Don's telepole, I'd save for rainy days

there is only a few Good E.G.O that is why you skip it most of the time + their rate up too small. if it's not :
1. Persuance
2. Ador Bloosom Star.
3. Fluid Sac
4. Dimentions Sredder.

Ah, so the E.G.O droprate itself is unchanged (extremely low), but if you (against all odds) DO manage to get it, it'll likely be the one the banner is promoting, huh... Well, that still sucks, but good to know.

Hm, I can't tell if you mean Yi Sang's or Hong Lu's version of Dimension Shredder, something to look into later I guess. Atleast I got Yi Sang's DS, every Fluid Sac, and Pursuance, so that's halfway there.

And I certainly wasn't confusing literal E.G.O for the E.G.O-based identities, thankfully those function like any other identity.

You are better off either saving shards to directly buy EGOs or spooking them trying to get IDs.

EGOs at the moment only exist to supplement character builds and rarely define an ID (exceptions exist, like Telepole being almost required for W Don to be broken).
