I'm not going to try to delve into trying to correct or add anything. This is just for external context. I don't know exactly when because I am not as interested and have a bad memory. But some years before 2018, Korean internet in general was much more receptive of women's movements and their various websites (of course there were still divides, and of course the amount of receptiveness does not solve women's problems nor would be sufficient. Societal/structural problems existed and still exist.). A huge number of people voted for the last president, who is the opposite party of the current, and his party resoundingly the local elections as well. There are many things that changed the climate.
In short I don't think it is a particularly good essay.
It's reddit, what do you expect xD
These Americans and English-speaking Koreans on reddit should all come to Korea
They'd make wonderful Korean drama actors with all their sentimentalities
Oops I'm an English-speaking Korean too, jokes on me xD
Ah well those "Koreans" who where calling people, what was their words again?

ah right "Majority Yankee bastards all basic potato chip popping f**** who grew on f**** US public education" (their words not mines) at DCinsides should move to the US to educate the US Koreans then?
Why are you so angry? Maybe you should chill out a little, or get therapy if you can't control your outbursts.
And yes, we can try that, let's do exchange programmes. You can send yours, and we can send you ours. And then we can make hybrid creatures to rule the world :D
Regardless of the reasons at this point, what vague and unanswering responses we've received from official sources already provide a major issue for the product and company. We may not see the outcome of this whole mess for a few months however, and it may even resurface in a more damaging way. I want the company to be successful considering all they've done, but I also wish they'd stay fair & respectable...
All good, as long as you're not a triggered Redditer then I'll listen to whatever you say :D
Ah well, no risk of that happening, I don't even own a reddit account nor write on reddit. I also don't really crave attention or anything so you do you, wasn't my intention to attract anybody's views, I don't crave validation from anyone.
It's just that the subject was getting a bit loaded, I wanted to bring up the fact that the reason this was, and still is a subject is because people from DCinside actively are insulting redditors, acting high and mighty, and even mentioned something about "turning foreigners views to their own" which, wew, backfired spectacularly, critical thinking, freedom of speech and all that mumbojumbo you know, westerners aren't really fond of "following the pack".
So yeah, just wanted to bring that up since it was relevant. But if nobody's interested in what I got to say that's fine, I don't really care.
I mean that's nothing new, doesn't everyone know that DCInside is a bunch of racist Koreans living in an echo chamber and redditors are a bunch of sentimental hypocrites who look down on ESL clowns? :D Meanwhile there are people like me, yet another clown who can't find a better use of his time instead of trolling on Steam,
and you, a sad liar who says he's not interested in validation but can't stop replying xD
I believe in pointing out flaws in oneself before pointing out flaws in others. :D
Wew, and that comes from a person who was accusing me of emotionally charging my responses earlier, talk about a pot calling the kettle black amarite?
I don't think I'll get anything constructive out of this discussion, have a good one :) I've made my point.
