Actual answer: Make sure your units are at least 30 as that's what I had when I fought her. When your units are covered in flowers you have to attack them to free them. Make sure to read her ability where she starts the duel, all you need to do is beat her like twice in clashes and you can use 7 outis for that as she worked for me since she lowers the opponents skill power. If you are still having problems winning clashes you can try and use meursaults ego to lower her power level and bind her to make it easier to clash appropriately.
Yeah! I do have skill issue! So what? I'm asking for help here!
My team was all lv 35.
I don't understand what the heck you're talking about, mate. Use Outis? Use Mersault? How???
Seriously! It's as if you're assuming I will understand all of this instantly!
Read flower lady passive.
Read status effects.
When flower lady use skill to start a duel, use yi sang or 7 outis.
Meursault ego can MAYBE make fight easier. Read it.
Read more, win more.
Because you not only have a level 35 team but also the some of the best units in the game including Ninclair.
This is not helping me at all! I read her skills and passives and all I got from it is gibberish!
I really just don't understand what they do! Okay?
Let's start from the top, do you know how Kromer's gaze passive works?
Also, yeah, read and try to understand mechanics.
when Dongbaek prepares to duel phase, she uses "must cover with dirt" skill, and three other slots are block skills, and her speed is fixed at 1. When this happens, either make everyone use defence skill, or make everyone attack her in her blocks with S1s(to burn the trash skills for future, as she has 100% protection anyways). Then you select the one duelist and make them clash with "must cover with dirt". This way, Dongbaek leaves the unit you yourself choose, and traps everyone else. If you don't do that - she will leave a random guy free, which makes it possible that the randomly selected sinner has bad skills in his current state, and can't win - then everyone loses

I don't understnad why no one here can give me detailed and easy to understands answers such as this one! How can you guys able to get that just by reading her skills and passives!?
Nope, I forgot. But I know how I defeated her.
-Get all the signs.
-Brought Sinclar.
-Didn't bring burn and bleed.
-Used a tank unit to clash with Gripping and either use EGO or tank the I Shall Claim Your Life skill that target the unit that clashed with Gripping
-Rinse and repeat. End of Phase 1!
-Phase 2, I clash against the arms when her giant mouth is closed. Use EGO to clash against Noble Purification to avoid the big AoE damage.
-BOOM! Kroomer defeated!
Can anyone give me instruction like this? Easy to understand?
Try to Clash against all Skills. Use Skills that has highest Win Clash odds for Sanity Points & to cancel Skills. Use DEFENSE Skills if top & bottom Skills Clashes are Struggling / below. Use E.xtermination of G.eometrical O.rgan Awakening Skills & Corrosion Skills if they can get Staggered / die even with Defense Skills.
Use Skills that deal most amount of Damage if Unopposed attack.
Try to kill all Soon-to-bloom Flowers as fast as possible. Skills with many Attack Weights are optional but good for this.
Win Clashes against Skills that Inflict Status Effects Blooming. They can get Damaged if they won't get 5 of it.
Clash against Skills Must Cover With Dirt to be Inflicted with Status Effects Dueling.
Win Clash against Skills Withering Flower twice.
Kromer's Gaze is literally the most defining part of her phase 1. Instant stagger. Being able to understand Kromer's Gaze let's you figure out how the Dongbaek's dueling phase works. You just redirect her clash to someone that can "Duel" her properly. Usually Ninclair or anyone with a cheap EGO.
The reason there's no in-depth instructions on Dongbaek is because her phase 1 is a basic fight with not that many mechanics and her phase 2 lasts less than a minute. It's like writing a 5 page long manual on how to use a toaster.
People are able to easily guess her ability because she only uses one attack. "Withering Flower" which says "On clash lose: Gain Scattering Petal"
What does Scattering Petal do? "At 6 count+, stagger".
People who played PM games are essentially tired of things that can be solved by looking at the passive or description of things. This happened a lot in Ruina.
I swear to WhiteNight I'm gonna distort.
To be fair I beat her first try so I do apologize if I can't write a detailed guide since I was fortunate to not have to memorize what she does but that could just be my library experience. Learning to understand the bosses mechanics will be crucial from here on out it seems as it's most likely only going to get harder and more convoluted later on and that's going to involve reading what you are unfamiliar with.
-If you can, give any unknown (de)buffs inflicted or given a look, by selecting the unit and checking out the skill, and just hovering the mouse over the (de)buff. It should tell you what it does.
(Or check the scrolling menu next to the skill which also lists what (de)buffs do.)
-For bosses, you likely want to see what their skills do, apply as (de)buffs to themselves or their enemy, and if they have any [On Use] or other special conditions.
(On that note, [On Use] means as soon as the clash begins with the target, *NOT* on clash lose, so it's inescapable. [Combat Start] is as the name implies, immediate once you hit start. And I'm sure you can figure out the rest.)
-For her in particular, you'll notice her skills inflict a flower status of some kind, and having too much of it is bad. Really bad. Win clashes and divert her [On Use] skill to someone who has little of it, spreading out the flower status and keeping it below 5-6 (whichever was the bad number).
-Also be wary of her evasion skill as it inflicts the same flower debuff on miss, so try to get a high-roller to hit her evasion first. (Defence skills do somewhat confuse me still, but I think that the idea is, you get a high-roller to clash with her evasion skill so it only triggers vs them, otherwise, if unclashed, it activates the moment she's attacked/you win a clash.)
-The duel phase that keeps wiping you and other players is actually dead simple if you read the passives, have your best clash-winner clash with her Cover With Dirt skill, while the others gang up on her or just defend, whichever you prefer. Everyone but the clasher gets immobilized, the clasher then has to win two clashes against her in the next two rounds, while ignoring the immobilized sinners. They'll be freed if you win those two clashes, which gives her 6 of her own flower debuff on clash lose, staggering her. (So, clash with her only, win both attacks. Beat her up. Win.)
-Definitely keep an eye on attack abilities and (de)buffs that bosses have and use, because you'll need to do so in the dungeon not far ahead, as well, from time to time.
if you not destroy them your team mate get hostage / planted. lol.
2. when every one get hostage by plant ?
that called duel mode. in duel mode you must win clash dongbaek 2x or die.
if you try to free your team mate also instant death by dongbaek.
do Ego spam twice to win clash dongbaek duel.
it easy just reading issue, don't panic just read slowly like other RPG boss mechanic.
