So without the current CG artist what happens?

So if the artist is fired does that mean all future chapters have a different story art style? Just EGO and IDs? Is all the art going to be done by new artists?

What actually changes game wise for the art?

CG Art is gonna be different as they will most likely be handled by Nai-Ga instead. PM will no doubt start looking for a new CG artist though because if they don't, they will be forced to overwork Nai-Ga which will not bode well for the overall company.

Nai-Ga has handled the art-style mainly for Ruina and the ID Arts. The Style will be noticeably different, but quality-wise it should remain the same.

I would be more concerned with Overwork if PM fails to find a new CG artist.

Which artist was fired? do you know?

I forget her name, but she was the one who mainly handled the CGs for Chapters 1-4.5. Her most well known CGs being the ending sequences, Sinclair Maracas, and Yi Sang's picture.
