To be fair yeah the uptie 4 costs are far too high for what they actually give, more taking in mind they use a resource that's more precious than thread, ego shards. IMO if they used 50 ego shards and 50 thread for both ID and EGO it would be perfect.
...Yeah no. Needless to say that was sarcasm. Gacha games are greedy. They are greedy. The reviews seem well-deserved. Heck, I might throw one in myself. Because honestly, there's no way I can think of any way to recommend this game to anyone. This game is a pill even diehard PM fans have difficulty swallowing. I guess the gacha genre is hopeless if even PM is unwilling or unable to do better then this.
Heck, I'll eat my hat if they somehow actually acknowledge the error with the IV pricing and make it cheaper (or considerably more worthwhile, rather then 250 shards for +1 friggin' burn - Looking at you, N-Sinclair).
And they should really update the roadmap soon, since that thing is unreliable now.
Regardless if you personally agree with it or not a lot of people feel Project Moon pulled a bait and switch. Resource costs were dramatically increased and the only counter argument defenders of Project Moon are that "gotcha games Have always been incredibly predatory And this is just par for the norm".
if you want to boil the frog you gotta do it slowly. Project moon turned up the heat too fast and a lot of the community thinks it's getting hot in here
I even bought the previous games for a friend
but yeah I wasn't a day 1 because I was scared of the gacha model
and i was right to be scared and I hope Pm will change and be reasonnable
The thing that might be worrisome might be next tier upties, but it's far future, so what's even there to complani about?
Also while the Bodysack thing sucks I guess, they also more than refunded the cost of uptie IV.
Heck, there's barely that much incentive to buy anything past the (essentially seasonal) battle pass with Limbus Company unless you literally want every single ID, which you can still obtain without even ever touching the 'Gacha' feature. If anything I wouldn't be surprised if Limbus Company is barely even making a profit for their company considering how generous they are with compensations and the existing features & functions, which doesn't bode well for their overall business as a company.
I strongly disagree with trying to influence others into 'review bombing', anyone hoping for a product's genuine success wouldn't do such a thing. However, many people are genuinely concerned or worried about the direction the uptie 4 stuff feels like it'll take the game to, even if currently they're a luxury feature until we gain new content that wasn't introduced before the update introducing them. Besides, if anything regarding the weird 'bikini' stuff, there's probably just as many if not more weird 'positive reviews' in that sense.
No. If the negatives concern uptie IV, then they get what they deserve. You do explicitly predatory updates, you get bombed by downvotes, fair. Yeah, gacha can't be made non-predatory, but they didn't even bother to give ppl the means to grind more threads/exp with new luxcavation, but rolled out the update neverthless. Railway 2 is upcoming, which will be balanced around uptie IV. I very much enjoyed their previous titles, but this doesn't justify this bs. Don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about horny coomers who want swimsuits and stuff.
This is not a swimsuit issue.
The current controversial illustrator left lots of discriminatory comments on Twitter, hiding them and getting a job at the project moon.
And the gender issue is a very sensitive issue in the Korean game industry.
Since the issue began in the online game 'Closer' in 2016, many games have been caught up in it and messed up.
Feminists in Korea do not act for human rights at all.
They are nothing more than a vicious group that promotes hatred for the benefit of their own group.
They start a fight by putting all kinds of "moral standards" on games they haven't played, destroying the image and community of the game, and just leaving.
In short, they are not interested in games.
They simply need offerings to fill their sense of moral superiority, and if they are stabbed, they try to cover it with absurd incitement.
Once again, the negative evaluation of the game is not because of the lack of swimsuits, but because of the illustrator's SNS activities.
But feminists are still inciting this to be a false outrage from those who didn't get their swimsuits.
It's a slightly sensitive metaphor that you can understand, similar to a company employee's blatant discrimination against a specific race through SNS.
They burned the Eucharist, Framing innocent people, sharing child pornography.
I hope you don't fall for it.
