Does paid lunacy have better chance of obtaining 000?

I saw that the store can detect which lunacy is paid and which is not, does that mean there is a difference in extraction probabilities if I used the paid ones instead of the free lunacy that the game offers?

no, non-paid Lunacty is used first, and only Paid Lunacy can be used for the once-per-day 13 cost per banner, that's pretty much the only difference.

I haven't noticed such, but if there is it'd probably be a major legal issue to not have such publicly available in-game or what not. At least I don't recall there being different probabilities for paid and unpaid pulls, especially since they're lumped together if you dip into 'paid lunacy' past what you have of 'free lunacy'.

As someone who spends paid lunacy on daily pulls daily since release.. hell no. The chances are generally just not very good, 2.9% may seem like a lot but realistically you can go for 70+ pulls without seeing any ids or egos, that just happens. Then get multiple in a single pull, that happens too. I hate gacha games, not gonna lie.

I will say, no I haven't noticed any better chance of getting a 3 star with paid that I haven't experienced with free. What I will say is with paid lunacy you're more free to constantly refill yourself on energy, allowing you spam mirror dungeon and use the Skip function to your hearts content. (Being that it gives you 50% more rewards, your maximum rewards go up from 18 to 27 threads per a day with less time spent farming overall.) In this sense you have far higher odds of getting all the 3 stars simply because you have more boxes and there for ego shards. So, if you want to spend the money for it don't waste the paid lunacy on rolls unless you're doing the daily 13 cost single pull. Use it to accumulate boxes so you have infinite exp and threads to spend where you want them.

As someone who generally does 2 skip thread grind per a day since that's the limit of what I could do without losing boxes if I made sure to log on and collect them, I had nearly everything uptied to Tier 3 before the patch came out. It's subtle, but pays off in the long run I promise.

A sidenote to this, the first refill each day is only 26 Lunacy, so buying one refill each day is very affordable even without spending money (the weekly total is 182, which is less than a one weekly MD bonus by a fair margin)
