Are these insects part of d corp? That's their region where gregor story happens. Tho his 3 star ego says g corp but that's like an alternative reality version of him?

From what I understand so far, The Identities other than base are "Alternate Worlds" version of the characters. CMIIW tho.

i might be wrong, but i think the new g corp has a singularity abt gravity, and the insect soldiers are remnants of the old g corp, which genetically modified them. The old g corp probably fell during the smoke war.

His past in 1-11 is the canon one so basically the base version. The identities coming from the Mirror (the gacha) are someone else identities either from same universe or other and it can be from any time point, not exactly their “multiverses” version

-) 000 Gregor: He stays with the G corp.

But, didn't the same dungeon have conversation between Gregor and the inhabitants regarding him being their "captain" or something and Him betraying them?
It was that part that makes me think that Base (Canon) gregor is in different universe to the other Identities, which also shown in the Mirror world menu.

Edit: Regarding Faust LC, I don't remember anywhere in the game mentioning that Faust was an actual Ex-LC member, I only remember her bio is the person that developed the bus.

During the first golden branch finale, the very women who modify Gregor mention that the arm wasn't the full present she gave and tells Gregor to at least unwrap the full of it. Also during the stories, those former soldiers said something about their modification progress, losing more and more human parts.

My guess is the transformation will eventually transform the host into something else, but also allow the host to gain traits as long as they could hold on to themselves. Gregor might not have that mental problem, but not everyone else.

Yeah Corporal is reflected to Gregor, changing his appearance, that what I just said above

As for the Mirror, there is alternative universe and there is alternative universe version of the user, the latter have no confirmation so far, but the former did as it can tap into a different universe where the world is normal (source: Leviathan), but no same person different universe reflection
It can be different universe, it can be same, it can be anyone, at any time point in their life, but not the same person as the user at the moment
