Need some help; anyone got suggestions?

Hit the enemy till it dies while protecting your staggered character from getting insta killed. Upon getting staggered the boss will target them so you gotta attack each part.

If your unit is Stagger+ just let em die.

You for sure want to avoid Sinners with bad resistance to piercing, just because of the first phases. Secondly, you really want to just constantly have an Ego on the turn where she grips someone, and when she is fatal and throwing out instant kills in the second phase. Mersault is a super good option, just cause he can throw out massive debuffs, people who can generate their own Ego like Heathcliff are also super good (and his gives him a strength buff)

Bring Haste or Bind or both and maybe lower her attack. She has an attack that auto staggers anyone who goes against it even if they win so you'll need high enough speed and the ability to win clashes to clean up after it so that person doesn't get destroyed.

Second phase, break her maw part I guess? That's what I did and she was dead by then.

Around turn 5 it will use a special attack that, if you win the clash, instantly staggers the boss. Use an ego attack against it as its quite powerful.
I believe its a 1 speed move so make sure you use your attacks in the right order, ideally the ego attack will be the fastest character. Make everyone attack this special enemy move with your ego attack being the last one you choose.
If you do this wrong you will get beaten to a pulp, if done right you get two turns of free boss bashing.

If you found at least 3 out of 4 signs Sinclair will get +1 power and -20% damage taken.

ego attack spam might become very important for the second phase so keep in mind which sin resources you are building and which one you need.

You need to clash win the "I'll claim your life!" attack.
As for the second phase, make sure to counter the "Inconnect Flutters" attack. Otherwise, i'd just try and go for raw damage

Any recommendations for team comps? I'd been running Kurokumo Hong Lu, Liu Gregor, Meursault, Heathcliff and G-Corp Outis on my last few tries, primarily to deal with the gauntlet of N-Corp enemies prior.

One tip is that you can exit the dungeon without actually giving up and go do other stuff, and the levels of the team you have in the dungeon will update so you can go right back to the boss fight with more levels.

Something that helped me was using Meaursault and Li Sang for their base EGOs. Both of which trigger attack down. There's also an attack in phase 2 that you should pretty much always challenge with an EGO to stop it from demolishing a unit. I pretty much built my setup around these 2 to keep attack down up more turns than not. Also in p2 I focused on the maw(body) before the limbs.

I hear Sinclair with certain drops from the dungeon can hard counter the "check" during the fight, but I didn't so no help there. I honestly got lucky and rolled high there and was guaranteed the win bc of it.

Yo, people. Just finished ch3 boss so I think it's okay to ask it here is the end when Daiman steps in and oneshots kroomer the only one? I failed that check at the end, does it affect the ending somehow? It felt very anticlimactic, as I've managed to beat her with all my boyz and girls still standing not even staggered on their last turn and I've broken the maw just the turn she wanted to use mass attack. The only thing I failed was that stupid check. And then she kind gomba stomps everyone from arena T_T . At least everyone had a snack in the end..

You forgot to add sinclair, since he has a lot of buffs. Rooster looks kind of meh aside from kurokumo Hong Lu, but it should be doable probably. Since it's an abno fight, forget about damage types and just bring out your strongest dudes with good resource synergy for good ego spam/clash win. What else do you have?

Not a lot that are uptied, admittedly. Got a Shi Heathcliff, a Blade Lineage Outis, and that's about it for my up-tied sinners at the moment besides the ones I already mentioned who are already uptied to level 3.

And any decent 000? The ones that can do a fundamental differance in this fight are 000 Heartclif, Gregs, and surprisingly don. So if you have anyone of those I'd suggest you to lvl them and drag along. Just farm mirror dungeons a bit to beef up your dudes. Hope your kurokumo Hong Lu is lvl 30. Do you run with default sinclair as well?

None; unfortunately, I pulled from the New Manager's Welcome day 1, so I didn't get any guaranteed 000's, so I've just got the Yi Sang one. Wondering if it's worth keeping hold of my Lunacy until Thursday for the new identities? Along with that promised 3 000 ticket from the newest announcement.

I also have Default Sinclair; got a bit too unlucky and don't have a single identity for him.

Idk man. I'd spend on Greg's banner in order to get the cockroach Greg with more probability. while there is a banner, he's quite handy through the dungeon and boss. Considering you've managed to climb up to ch3 boss with only Yi Sang and Kurokumo Hong Lu, you build teams well enough and probably just need some identities in your rooster that will play better with each other. I'd try to grab something for sinclair, preferably the mexican as he is almost impossbile to stagger in this form
