But i get the message, don't look at the daily pull as 13 lunacy but the actual paid price per pull. It's good to bring up.
But if you really intend to keep playing for a long time.. may as well just put these 30 cents in their pockets. Consider it like a.. long term investment into imaginary pixels or whatever these gacha pulls are.
Let's be level-headed consumers and not fanboys even if we love ProjectMoon and the game.
The *whole point* of using the same name for both things is to get you to treat dollars as if they are the same as the f2p currency that's given out and spent in the hundreds per day, when one is orders of magnitude more valuable than the other.
I mean I really don't see much point saying that gacha does gacha thing. It should be pretty obvious.
"Gacha games are predatory no point in commenting on it" seems like a pretty ♥♥♥♥ idea especially when there's a developer prone to making adjustments or changes. Do you just accept a baseline level of gacha predatory ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and never voice anything? I don't get this mentality.
When you call two things the same, use the same symbol for them, and count them under the same entry, the standard-issue human brain will treat them as the same. When you then offer price A and price A * 10, the standard-issue human brain will feel like the former is a bargain and that it's missing out by buying at A * 10. No gambling addiction required.
The actual way to deal with this stuff is to acknowledge that your ability to reason about the world is under attack, and try to defend against that*. Hence my original post.
* Well, most people just disengage from this type of game instead of trying to deal with this stuff, but that's not relevant to the thread.
As someone who had the misfortune of arguing with that person not that long ago, i'd strongly advise against trying to question their reasoning.
I still think that's a bullsh*t and pity should be there to equalize things ( and will talk about it, because there is a good chance that they will listen if enough people start complain) but you can do yours.
Btw, its not like I'm trying to force my opinions on anyone, lol.
