Question about account merging/linking

If you merged your account to a phone, then get a new phone of the same brand, would you have to merge again or not (same with uninstalling the game and reinstalling it on phone)

you don’t need to merge but you’ll have to login with the old account either google or apple account since you need at least 1 of them to merge with steam

Yes but not quite, once merge, on Steam you just need to login with steam, on phone you need to do with either of those two, but it will be the same account on both platform after the merge

Yeah you can, but you can login with both google/apple on iOS or Android so no need to link everything, pick one of the two and merge with Steam is all you need really

Is it possible to merge another google/apple account onto Steam after you already did a merge? Like if I already merged 1@gmail onto Steam and now I want 2@gmail on Steam instead

There seems to be a bug with it at the moment so make sure it's what you want... I'm in the process of deleting mine because I merged to Steam with a random account then played another on phone, tried to merge the 2nd one and it says "ERROR" and a second message underneath saying it was successful, many others with the same

Seems like it's more of a bug than anything considering it says both success and fail but yeah... So just be sure it's what you want when you merge to Steam
