But yeah, its very situational and only the evade option works in any consistent way to avoid damage, at least for me.
Used the evade and she completely dodged both the attacks.
Definitely niche, but it has its uses.
Blocks been nice to move an attack downstream or absorb attacks.
Counter is interesting tho, while some counter skills are really lack luster compared to what we see enemies use. Some actually provide buffs to characters like protection and damage up. Some even provide different colors for your E.G.O.
But if you ask me block and evade are far better only because most counter skills really do nothing other than one free attack, and you'd be better off using a skill instead or activating that dark cloud blade passive that replaces the counter with skill 3.
In the coming updates I hope to see some buffs to our counter skills or mechanics that provide additional benefits to our sinners when we activate defensive skills like we see in some counter skills and passives.
But yeah, I most often use the defensive stuff if I'm going to lose something. so not often but kinda often depending on the enemy or starting hand.
Just wish block skills blocked more damage.
don't clash if you want to live. if anyone say pointless its a group of dumb that brain dead that not reach chapter 3 and not playing mirror dungeon where you will meet red aura raging dog abnormally, pink aura rage undead robot ultimate or any boss abnormally / human that guaranteed instant kill you if not guard and evade.
every annoying enemies has a attack that you need to evade / guard.
The reason it shifts is your fast sinners are redirecting attacks because they are fast, if you defend with a fast sinner, it stops redirecting and the next fastest one redirects it. Defend from the slowest sinner first and this doesn't happen.
I still hate 3-17 since it feels way too ♥♥♥♥, way too many waves, lost way too many 2+10 Evasion rolls against the damn knights and the boss is just one tanky boi who likes going stabby stabby in my eyeballs
It's still very situational and it require the understanding of how human fight targeting work. It doesn't help that they are so weak as option that 90% of times you better just attack as you are losing action economy.
That is a good point. And yeah that can save someone, so it is "usable", but still so situational that I would try to win clash (even if chances are low) rather than try to evade tbh
