And no, it doesn't need to be toned down. It acts both as a punishment for the player if they don't think out their clashes, disabling your sinners, and as a reward for getting an advantage against the enemy, letting you get free hits. In short, it works just as intended.
You gotta crack a few sinners to make an omelet in this chapter it seems. Less you're overleveled.
stagger tier one? fine. tier 2? pushing it. stage 3? only there for the player i dont think any of the enemies so far have had 3 stagger bars.
it's overall easier of the game to use it against you rather then you it similar to runia, although here theres less counter play and more punishment
I sometimes end up with one or two people staggered but by that point I've usually staggered or killed some enemies at the same time. I've had people get wrecked by bad luck then proceed to clear the dungeon with them on like 10 hp.
I've fought everything in the game but who knows how it'll be when they add more stuff.
i just think its unnecessary. punishment of getting unlucky as i see it less punishment for playing bad
Knowing what sins you have in stock and what you need to activate EGO is a large part of combat.
