Game's called LimBUS Company, the characters ride a bus, they refer to it as a bus, its a bus, yet all the iconography is of a train????????

It's a bus that looks like a train. It might have been built out of train parts or something. It has road wheels though.

Unironically you're onto something. From Goethe (aka book Faust is from) Faust makes a deal with the devil represented by non other than Mephistopheles (same name Charon calls the bus). The deal consists of Mephistopheles becoming Fausts servant and showing everything there is to see. Funnily enough in LCB lore Faust is also confirmed to have constructed said bus, so best bet that the finale (according to character reveal and Faust being the last) Bus itself might turn out to be an abno.
