Yeah, I didn't think this through it seems xd. I'll reiterate my previous statement:
You don't want your corroded sinners to use E.G.O. most of the time, other times it can be useful.
If in danger of corruption, I'll still use the EGO in a situation where I need the momentum on my side and the fight isn't going my way. Sure it can screw you over, but I'd rather a chance of getting the lead or losing faster over losing slower and hoping I get lucky on bad clashes.
I'd risk it if things were so bad losing control of one sinner wouldn't really make a difference.
Nothing like spamming EGO attacks 8-10 times in one turn.
...Provided you aren't bleeding to death or burning your life up for it.
