Res vs. Abs

I don't understand the passive scaling. There seems to be two types i noticed res. and abs. What is the difference between the two? I'm assuming res. is resonance so is it scaled on the resources currently on the right side of the screen or is it scaled on the current resonance activated on the turn like connecting 3 glooms in the chain etc.

Res is resonance when a 2 same sin chained, and Abs is Absolute Resonance when 3 same sin chained, all its does is boosting the same sin attack modifier and activating passive.
