Feels like a top down shooter tower defense adaptation of a Serious Sam game... it even has these running exploding enemies that yell before they get near the trucks you are protecting and explode.

Good fun while it lasts and I got just noticed i got 100% of the achievements as I naturally completed the map's seven stages. For the cheap price and it's unique look its fine if its a relative short but nevertheless an action jacked romp.

Game is very unbalanced and not fun at the moment. Will revisit later, but EA shouldn't be used as an excuse to release a game that a player can't accomplish any objectives without hours of investment into slow roguelite elements.

A few specific things for devs to work on:
- It is hard to tell the difference between some of the enemies as there is no color differentiation.
- There is no intuitive understanding in how much damage and what roles the different towers play.
- The landscape cover is relatively useless with enemies coming in from any place off the map, this needs to be more tactically thoughtful.
- There is no recovery chance once you lose a convoy, that portion should be repeated or just give it a game over as it is not possible to progress at that point.
- later levels are unplayable with difficulty scaling, just lock them
- There needs to be more variety than point and click, not even a sprint or shield? really? Don't say the axe is a part of the game as you use it once and it is on cooldown so long you forget it exists.
- Zero drops in game other that 1 possible coin and the copied xp gems
- Overall feels like a cashgrab at this point unless there is significant gameplay balancing and creative input.

Will give another chance in the future, but hold off on this game for now. Also, to the reviewer who said this feels like a final product, did you even try it?

Tower defense aspects fail to scale with enemy health, enemies target you or the convoy seemingly at random, everyone's bullets are the same color, there's only one weapon and one special and their base cooldowns are laughably long. Hopefully EA provides direction and a chance to add sophistication to the mechanics, because at present there's nothing here that can't be found better elsewhere.

From a certain starting point, a car is sent along a given path. At the same time, zombies of different strengths run from all sides and try to destroy it. Our hero counteracts this, who must shoot enemies in the twin-stick shooter mode, and towers that can be placed at given points along the route help him in this.

+ Minimalistic but nice graphics.
+ Good music and sound accompaniment.
+ Good global and intra-race leveling of the hero.
+ Many types of enemies that actively attack.
+ Dynamic combat.
+ Unusual protection concept.

- A general small amount of content in some areas. The hero has only two types of weapons (and they no longer promise), four cards (two more are promised).

Peppy twin-stick shooter with tower defense elements. Good big battles with hordes of intensifying enemies. Good character build. Somewhat upsets our small arsenal of actively used weapons and a small number of levels.

Circle strafing like an insane person used to entertain me no end when this genre opened up. The popularity of the likes of Vampire Survivors confuses me though due to the insanely repetitive and cloned nature of all the titles on offer. Finally though, we have a true contender to the throne which in my opinion was held by Crimsonland until now.

The demo release during a recent Steam Festival had me hooked.

Using a clever integration of a tower defence aspect, one protects a convoy truck while using your XP upgrades and money from said truck to improve both your player character and your 4 towers lining the deadly passage these brave (mad?) truck drivers need to endure.

• The action is clean and satisfying.
  
• The Rogulite upgrade aspect is clear and has meaningful and immediately effective choices
  
• Graphics style and sounds/music aesthetics are unique and quite lovely
  
• Frustration vs Reward is a good balance with that very moreish sensation, just...one...more.
  
• Works well as a pickup and go game
  
• Early Access developer actively pays attention to and discusses suggestions.

A fun and easily enjoyable addition to your Library, EA affordability make this an unavoidable choice.

total play time takes 5 hours to upgrade everything so that you can kill everyone, i feel like whoever made this game was extremely lazy though since the game is not fun or inventive or creative or tries to do something new just the typical grinding die earn points upgrade abilities repeat. thankfully this game is cheap as heck because if it was anywhere above 5 dollars it would be a crime.

The game has potential but it currently doesn't feel fun to play due to the game balance. The game also lacks the option to rebind/remap all the keys so if you're left handed, handicapped or use a non-QWERTY keyboard you'll have a really bad time.

Dev didn't make level 6 feasibly beatable thanks to artificial difficulty, making you resort to unfun tactics after hours of grinding to progress

Later stages involve you standing in front of the vehicle so it can't get slaughtered by the billion +1 zergs rushing you. Yeah I beat it. It's really lame.

Also your character is pretty boring. You build up a generic character who has a drone that shoots and you shoot. I wish there was more variety in how you can build out your character.

I don't want to say "no" to recommending this game. However, I found the game not worth investing time and effort in. It neither engaged me, nor entertained me. Maybe there are others who would find it more to their liking. The problems I had were the following. 1) A tutorial, where they "let the newbie win" is quite useful and adds a lot. It gives direction and expectation at the onset, which in turn motivates you. 2) The graphics are rudimentary. Good graphics add a lot to my enjoyment of the game, and they usually mean usually come with a sophisticated game. 3) But mostly, it is the concept. I didn't like it. You defend one vehicle at a time against a horde of attackers. That's it. I have also generally not liked "roguelike" games; this was no exception. You die. You start over again. I think that works really well for some type of games, but not so much for tower defense. I know, I shouldn't have purchased it in the first place, but once done, you are stuck with it. On the plus side, it was very cheap.
