mk1 worth it?

I'm still hesitating whether to buy this game and I really can't decide, do they talk enough about the problems of the game on PC, is it worth it? or it is really very poorly optimized on PC and with many bugs

it doesnt even open on a lot of pcs including mine, and the monetization at the moment is absolutely unacceptable, there is a good game underneath all that but it is better to wait

Mortal Kombat 1 doesn't offer you anything,
& it's actually genually worst then Mortal Kombat 11...

Anything genually loved about Mortal Kombat
has been dead since Armageddon, & even then
it was already slipping away with the Story...

But Mortal Kombat 9 really sent the Franchise into
a downward Spiral & drove it off a cliff... With each
Video Game getting worst then the previous one...

New Mortal Kombat 2 won't be any different from this trend...

I honestly am curious if People are only still buying
Mortal Kombat, because they don't have a reason,
because it's just simply a New Game...

I'm curious if that is the only reason they keep coming back for more?

The game is mostly unfinished in terms of balance. There are plenty of broken mechanics and nonsensical design decisions. It also lacks features that should be a given.

If you are a casual fighting game enjoyer and like the offline content of MK games then you may like this. If you want a competitive, honest and fair game that actually works properly then this game will only cause you headaches. You must have an extraordinary mental fortitude in oirder to not start hating your life grinding this. Because there is plenty of cheesy and cheap garbage people exploit. And you have to lab everything in order to not get exposed.

MK! is good game. But it should be installed on SSD only! And yes, there a lot of perfmomance and optimization problems.

MK11 looks more solid for me by gameplay

MK1 fighters pool is better

As far as gameplay goes, I enjoy MK1 a lot more than 11 (recently went back to 11 and it felt so bad in comparison) and invasion mode seemingly has seen a bit of improvement as no one has super armour save for bosses and I've encountered very little in the way of fight altering nonsense. The story mode is also a lot better for the first 50%.
Unfortunately this game is built like a gacha though. Grinding is the name of the game and the game drip-feeds you koins and experience. But that's okay as all the best skins are locked the the premium store at $10 an outfit. You can unlock skins in the shrine as well, but I hope you enjoy unlocking artwork at 1000 Koins a go as you're going to be seeing a lot of it. Customisation is also worse than MK11.
So in short, the core is great. Way better than MK11. But they've piled so much nonsense on top of it that it's next to impossible to recommend. Get it on sale or better yet wait for the komplete edition a year or two from now. Perhaps by then NRS and WB will stop hating its fanbase although I doubt it.
