its ray tracing ?

I just enabled it and to be honest have not noticed any visible difference, at least not without comparing side by side.

IDK what they add but after update my joystick stop working with that game
The lighting in MK1 is so d0gsh!t that adding Ray tracing is beyond pointless.

It still lacks the visual depth of Mk11.
Game's a 2.5D fighting game why tf do they need to implement that useless ♥♥♥♥. The only fighting game that i know uses ray tracing is King Of Fighter XV and that's still unnecessary because it's only noticeable in two stages. Even Tekken 8 doesn't use ray tracing.

I’m keeping it off to protest Nvidia’s decision to implement fake frames.

According to the patch notes, ray tracing only applies to reflections so you will struggle to see differences depending on the stage. Everything else such as lighting will look the same. Can't say it's a welcome addition but I guess it's something ...

This doesn't really make sense. There are so many uses of ray tracing and levels of it. But if the lighting is so bad (which i don't find), ray tracing is a solution depending on the type used. I mean literally replacing baked lighting with a global ray traced illumination would be the very thing to use it for.

However in this case I want to say it said it's only in certain situations with perhaps reflections? I haven't really looked into it yet but it may be reflections based in areas where it may show.

Ray tracing isn't an Nvidia thing. Dlss frame gen is. However amd also has Ray tracing support and frame gen. Unreal engine 5 uses lumen which is software Ray tracing. Protest all you want but I'd just say do it in a different way!

It's reflections only, I said that directly above your post ...
