You are also insulting the devs for a small update.....laughable.
That's just how Steam works now, in the download queue it will show the size of all the files it needs to re-verify (usually majority of the whole game size), but once the actual download starts then the download size is shown with the blue line, and installing over the files is in green.
No you didn't because there is no 74 GB download.
You installed (re-patched) 74 GB, but you only downloaded 2 GB of new data.
If you check your game install size after the patch, you will clearly see it did not increase by 74 GB.
People really need to learn the difference between downloading and patching. Granted, Steam doesn't really do a great job making it clear, but still, this is not new.
