Does MK1 have the same local coop as MK9?

That was amazing.
NO ideia why someone thought it would be a good idea to just remove it.
(Removed from games following MK9, AKA MK X and MK 11)

They removed it from the following games SINCE mk9 (10 & 11)

Yes the game have local 2 players.
When you choose Local , u can choose wether if is CPU or 2P

Sorry i missundertanded you. Not that Local COOP, i though u was talking about the versus fight, was by there somebody saying this game hadn't the versus 2P. Just Vs CPU.

It is a barely used feature nowadays. So, it makes sense to not bother with it as they can dedicate resources elsewhere.

You can still do Vs though and stuff locally.

What? you can definitely play also MK X locally with friends.

I don't understand why they don't have a 2v2 tag match online where you get paired with someone.

Yeah it would suck getting stuck with a baddie but it could still be fun.

In MK9 you and your friend can pick one character each and BOTH fight against the CPU.
You can change characters during the fight. It is really nice.
