Microphone not working in Voice Chat

Hey everyone. I noticed that I have all the right settings on, to allow for voice chat.
However there is no way for me to communicate with others.
Is there a way to fix this?

i cant figure it out either , i can hear other too. my mic will not be detected by this game

Make sure to change your input device in your windows sound settings.

I have the same problem. I have mic working on discord so clearly it is recognized by windows and yet it is not detected by MK1.

You have to make your Microphone the Default device in Windows Settings

I have this issue as well. It used to work now it doesn't. I can use my mic with no problem in CS 2 and everything is set to default. Other people I know use their mic and can hear other people just fine.

You gotta change your mic to the microphone you are using in your Windows Sound Settings

There isn't a place in MK where it lets me choose my microphone. In Windows, the default is VoiceMod. This works in other games so I don't see how this is the problem. I've pointed the game directly to my microphone.
