Pay to win?

I was really annoyed when I started playing MK1 on early access and wondered why would they make some Kameos locked until certain level and now I realised they just wanted to sell a few base roster kameos for money, lol. That's a new low, Jesus Christ how scummy can NRS be?

Edit: I forgot that both Ermac and Quan Chi are already in the game as well so KP1 bloated.

are you really screaming pay to win is it that hard to just level up your account and unlock them for free the dlc is for the lazy ppl who dont play the game its not even pay 2 win its pay 2 be lazzy cause buying those does not make u win the game if u dont know how to play

It's not about people paying for content it's about how scummy devs get. We could probably have access to Quan Chi and Ermac already but since KP1 would have no legacy characters they probably decided to remove them from base roster and sell them with KP1. Don't you guys get that these practices will only ♥♥♥♥ it's player base up? No offense but not being able to interpret such a simple concept makes me wonder if you guys are dumb or just in denial.

The best Kameos are already unlocked. Sareena and Frost are insane.

Exactly, no options to buy would show good faith. It would mean that they had a reason to do so other than greed. It wouldn't make it better it would just not make NRS looks this bad. And look it's clear you're a shill that will find excuses for devs to milk their player base, you're using exploits such as leaving your game farming by itself to unlock without grinding wich is the most desperate point I have seen someone make to defend a dev's greed so it's pointless to argue with you. I still think that removing features from games and putting grind walls or pay walls it abusive and shouldn't be accepted by us. In the end you're arguing against everyone, it's not adavantageous even to NRS.

I think it's pretty obvious they had a reason other than greed. You're claiming the option to buy is a cash grab. Like I already said, Mortal Kombat has had unlockable characters since the 90s. This is the same as that, just now you can pay if you can't spare a couple hours to play the game you bought.

They didn't remove content and start charging for it. They've had this content forever and now you can pay to speed track it. This isn't shilling, you just have a non argument. Why don't you play the game like you've had to for decades and unlock the characters the normal way?

If you're going to get mad at "exploits" then you probably don't want to be gaming anymore. I gave you a real simple solution that people are using on all platforms. It's not hacking or trying to gain an unfair advantage over the competition. It's an automated button press.

These are the equivalent of unlockable characters and I will never complain about these characters since they have been marketed as DLC since ever and are not present in the game afaik. I have played the game and have them unlocked already can't you read? And if you want future games to depend on exploits where you leave your game running for days just to unlock ♥♥♥♥ without grinding good luck. There was no PC beta and it's pretty obvious since the game is poorly optimized to the point where people are refunding it. Why don't you refund the game? Don't support NRS. That will really teach them a lesson. I don't think making a Steam topic about it is doing anything. Vote with your wallet. If you think they're so scummy, talk to them about it. Why are you arguing with me about it? I'm just a regular consumer that hasn't had any issues with the game thus far. It's all working for me.

Tell them. Send them an email. Write them a letter. Call their customer support line. Do literally anything more significant than this thread that NRS will never read.

I'm happy with the game. I finished 49/50 achievements (where is that Titan Battle?) before release. I didn't have any game breaking bugs or anything. The game runs fine, does what it's supposed too. I played some online and that worked fine.

If you want me to take you seriously, you need to offer up a better "problem" than the fact they are charging for something you will just passively unlock by simply playing the game. I understand that other people buying Kameo characters really diminishes your enjoyment of the game but it exists. It's like they didn't even consider your feelings when making the purchase. I find that highly disrespectful.
