Remote Play Together

So, like the title. I want to play a session with a friend who doesn't own the game. Does anyone know if it's OK to do it through Steam Remote Play / Screen Sharing or will it result in getting some non-justified ban or some other nonsense ? Did anyone try yet ?

Why would you get banned? It literally says it supports remote play together on the game page :-\

ye, I know. But I saw some guy complaining that he got banned for using Family Sharing... so I just wanted to make sure. It works, but it's a bit clunky.

I played with someone like this, on MK11 and never got banned, but on this one, when i try, the controller of my friend is not working, cant play together, maybe because its on early access, i will see tonight if thats working after the official release, if you give it a try, let me know if thats working with the gamepad of your friend, thank you :)

I think if someone uses family sharing and cheats in a game then main account gets banned :-\

ok, just wanted to make sure Family Sharing and Remote Play are unrelated. And ye, apparently they are. No problems so far.

It worked, no problems. Just a little weird thing with the Controller 1 & 2 ports often getting confused .. Just reconnect and it should be fine. Also, set your Streaming quality to Performance or whatever its name was, so you minimize the chance of input lag. & if you still have issues, try to get your friend to drop directly in the match, after you've selected your characters. I'd also advise Xbox controllers, my friend had some knock off & yeah... there were some issues :)))
