WAY TO FIX OR CHANGE BUTTON DISPLAY? (VICTRIX PRO BFG)

button display are numbers, which I dont mind, but 2, 3, and 4 are the wrong numbers for occasional fighting games. is there a way to fix or change this? (without changing controls)

Put the controller in PC mode and then changing it to PS4 or PS5 seems to fix the issue.

When the game isn't running, and your controller is connected to the PC try right clicking Mortal Kombat 1 in your library and choose properties. Then choose controller. Change the setting for Overide for Mortal Kombat 1 from "Use default settings" to "Enable Steam Input" and see if that helps.

For me, I had to try toggling the setting on and off a few times with launching the game in between before I was able to get the correct prompts to show up.
