9h playing and after restart i get ban for 24h?

Before i can play i was trying few settings and ofc restart Steam Deck to be sure it work good. Next i play 9h and now after restart becouse of black screen i get error and link to read - ban for 24h from "site" denovo? I pick premium to be able play this week. What the hell is that?

It's the anti-cheat and anti-piracy system, are you sure you weren't doing anything strange? It seems the system detected that you were doing some kind of cheat

Yep, I swapped Proton versions a few time yesterday to try help the stuttering...and for my efforts Denuvo locked me out for a day as it saw each version of Proton as a new machine.

Very anti-consumer malware shovelled into most big releases today...makes me wanna vomit

For 100% not, just get ~100h in SF6 without any problems with great performance and start MK now before relese... i only play Story mode and try difrent settings to be on ~40fps on Steam Deck. SF6>MK1 performance :/ Realy Someone can tell me what to do? I write also to "help service" but... i know it's sunday morning...

I do the same thing checking proton for better performance. But is this cheating? No way

You just have to wait a day, nothing more anyone can do, It unlocks itself...Welcome aboard the "♥♥♥♥ Denuvo" train....it really is the bane of modern PC gaming.

Basically, Denuvo enforces an 'Activation Limit", to stop you starting the game up on multiple PCs at once I guess....but whenever you try a new Proton version it flags this POS system into thinking you're using a new PC...hence the lockout.

Ehhh long time ago when ppl also me dont have good net connect or cash to pay for games aspecialy premium version was free from this problem. Now i'm adult and can pay what i want and they ban.... ehh i dont know after this performance on steam Deck should i change to Rog Ally and mayby leave steam alone with this problem. Respect customers!

Only one Steam deck, but yes i try few protons just to play more then 20FPS.... thats sad

Thank you guys i understood now what is the problem. Problem with optimize game, for full pricre. Trying to help my self and week crap for me...

Do You sugest good Proton here? or just jump to rog ally and dont worry about "power" and lags?

That's what happened, if you constantly change your IP with Proton, Denuvo detects that, invalidates your offline token and tries to generate a new one for your new configuration.
It's a bit screwed up, because Denuvo can even detect a windows update and invalidate the current offline token and then try to generate a new one. If this happens 5 times a day, they won't let you play anymore (24 hours ban).

They were all as bad as each other unfortunately...Rog Ally may just be the same boat, although you'll be able to tweak more without freaking Denuvo out as it's a Windows based system.

But, framerate issues and lack of optimisation are still going to be problems there...the game is in dire need of patches.

Thank you i will read this. Just never befor need to make so many changes in settings to play "smooth" game. It just not fair, we must fight for good gameplay by settings and ban... but i completly understood what you mean.
