Finishers sometimes not working

So, I'm having trouble doing certain brutalities (Scorpion (CHR)'s Grab Brutality, Scorpion(CHR)'s Back Forward 4 Brutality, Subzero(KAM)'s Fatality, Reiko's Down Back 3 Brutality, etc.) Anyone else having trouble pulling these off, or am I just bad at timing things? If there is a trick to it, what is it?

Some brutalities require you to push certain buttons too while the move is happening (example, one of Geras brutalities needs you to press Down, Down, Down while doing the grab). so you need to hover over them with the extra information option, and then it will tell you these things. If there's nothing you need to do, then you're just not doing it right.

Right, with Scorpions grab for example, it says, "Tap Forward, Down, Back, Up during the grab". I do that, but it still doesn't work. Same for his Back Forward 4 brutal, where it says "Hold Up as the move hits". Easy enough seemingly, but it still doesn't work for me for some reason.
Idk, maybe it's a timing thing? Maybe a bug?

Weird then. Might be a timing thing, honestly. I thought the same thing when I tried Geras brutality, until I just mashed Down three times the moment the grab move happened and I managed to get it.

I just found out that a lot of them are bugged at the moment, so I guess that solves that, just gotta wait for a patch.
