Ill do what i want, thank you,
Sure but you have to ask yourself the question "Is it really worth it." Instead of putting time and effort in things you like, you are just repeating yourself in many topics and soon or later people won't even read what you post anymore or even don't care about your opinion.
What are you trying to achieve? To convince people? Which will not happen. Especially with a "I'll do what I want" while people need to listen to you.
What other reason do you have to post "how bad" Mortal Kombat 1 is in every topic.
Shall we go back on-topic now? I would rather put time and effort to OP and give him much as possible advice how to do better combo's.
It's just about finding the right character/s for you. So far out of the characters i tried, Baraka, Nitara, Kenshi and Reptile have been the 4 that kinda click with me.
I wouldn't say combos are super easy as people tend to over exaggerate in here, someone said it's dial combos and win, man i wish it was, there's still specific moments when you have to input your combos at the right time, cause some combos and strings just miserably fail or whiff if you just mindlessly input the combo without learning the nuance when to do it/when to wait and of course all depends on the characters, reason why i mentioned baraka is cause he's among the simpler ones to learn and play.
Read who?
Back in topic: there are controls and combo settings in the options, you may want to give a look at that also.
I think op should also take it easy, it's not a job and no one runs after you, I usually do my singleplayer stuff trying to learn a single combo till it becomes natural to me, then I go to the next, when I learn enough of them I try to concatenate them all in coherent ways.
I do get bored trying stuff in training mode, unlocking things makes it more fun than looking at a training dummy.
Well, I’m used to old 2D style Capcom games so the inputs were much faster to respond in making combos. I’m not much a fan of long combo inputs. It’s just….it’s boring to me, yet I’m cool seeing other ppl doing it.
So, if that is the case, it's time to unlearn SF6. Otherwise, it's likely that they made the timing in MK1 more stringent in order to balance the combo-happy nature of the game.
Depends on what you're used to. Combos aren't an issue in SF or Tekken for me, but this game....♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Mechanically they are probably less complex, but my muscle memory is just too geared towards precise timing.
I'm like hunting for those 2-3 frames or whatever that I can cancel out of, when I'd probably just be better off dialing it in.
