the f*cking timing for combos

either i am too old for this kind of game (i am 30)
or the time to do the combos properly is too short
either way i suck at the combo stuff the tutorial asks of me

im 37 and do the combos just fine.

Don't blame your age for being trash.

You need to input the buttons fast and at the right timing, don't spam the button more than what is needed, if you press it twice instead of once it won't work . just keep practicing.

There is input buffering in this game. If you struggle timing the moves, try pressing the inputs just one after the other.
For example if they ask for X Y, back forward A, try inputing XYbackforwardA without a pause.

Based on your Steam history, I would say you have the potential to learn this. You have a lot of hours in Dark Souls series, Nioh series, Monster Hunter series and Elden Ring. I see that you also played Arma 3.

Those aren't the same games, but they are games that you need to learn and have patience for, they have a high learning curve aswell. Those are games that doesn't hold back on you, even if you are a beginner. Those games are all about falling down and getting back on your feet to do better.

Same as in Mortal Kombat, learn from your mistakes, practice, practice and practice learn to time and how to use combo's and have patience. Don't give up, just like you didnt gave up on Dark Souls and Elden Ring.

That's why It's a tutorial, it's for practice. You could also print the list of combo's and try it under pressure against AI in local fights or in Invasion mode. Sometimes you learn quicker under pressure. Maybe combo's will work under pressure. If I focus on what to press, I might also ♥♥♥♥ up combo's. But when I don't think about it and focus on the fight, I throw in combo's automatically.

Oh, everyone can see what you played, what you own and how many hours you have played per game. You can easily turn this off private in the settings.

i am a simple man not really made for that i just wanna do all the tutorials for the koins and be done with it and find a easy to learn character or someone chaotic enough that i likle him/her eenough to be willing to put up with this

Than practice, have patience and don't give up. Sometimes watching video's and guides from other people aren't also a bad thing. They can also give tips and advice how to learn to do better combo's, with footage.
