Yup, Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, and Project L will be the best fighting games of this gen. MK1 gameplay sucks Dark Raiden's old ass and you have to play the corny story through to the bitter end to play Havik. I'd rather buy him like they did with Frost in MK11. That corny ♥♥♥♥ is outdated and don't get me started on unlocking Kameos...

so you're complaining about unlockable/hidden characters which has been a thing for 30 years and want it changed because you're too lazy ok makes sense

So no I disagree. The fact that you can just buy the outfits with RL money in SF just makes how garbage WT mode is even sleazier.

Not to mention they didnt even give us the primary outfit color palattes.

I can almost entirely bet that despite what your original post says, that you'd complain about Havik being put behind a paywall to get him instantly like they did with Frost in MK11 or Brainiac in Injustice 2. This just feels like a setup where nobody wins, not even you.

Not really. You are doing the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the boring chess mode in MK1. Dodging fireballs and jumping through hoops whoopy doo. World Tour mode is at least open-world and can do other stuff like battling any pedestrian, playing arcade classics like Streets of Rage, socializing in Battle Hub, and creating your own character. All of those things with a lower budget than MK1 and y'all got are Onmiman and Homelander. Not that impressive since CoD has three of them regardless, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to unlock a character by playing story mode when all I want to do is hop online and play rank. Now I fight a random Havik online and don't know any of his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and so now I have to play the story mode to see his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ movelist? NOPE HARD PASS.

What are you talking about? Why do you think I mentioned the other fighting games? What grown man wants to unlock characters in this golden age of fighting games? SF6, Tekken 8, Guilty Gear Strive all characters are there at your disposal. If there is an option to pay for him so you don't have to sit through that long ass story then I'll gladly do it I do not see the confusion.
