Dialogue in battle intros
It is kind of weird that we regressed back from previous games and the characters have zero interaction between them in the intro... Atleast I haven't gotten any in online ranked, towers or invasions.

Apparently, the dialogue is there -- in the in Local PvP, and possibly "Kasual" online. They likely removed it for "Ranked" because it's the game's "competitive" game mode, and it speeds up proceedings (delays result in loss of mojo). I was watching that "Super" streamer's online play before, and he made that, very allusion, about it being "great" that the game went from fight to fight with minimum delay.

To be frank, online, I don't need the dialogue that I've already heard, even less than I need it offline once I've heard it a couple of times. However, to please everyone, they should have added an option to leave the dialogue exchanges in; where if one player has it set to "ON", the exchanges will play (but, can be skipped by either player pressing the buttons).

They had literally that in MK11. I don't understand how it slows down the battle if either player can just skip it. And even so I don't know how it slows down the game. The tower battles still have intros in them, the only difference is that the characters are just silent now. I get it you don't really care for hearing it again and again, but I felt like it gave the game some charm.

My guess is that it's to do with the seamless loading into fights -- loading the dialogues complicated things for coders, in terms of the seamlessness and overall transition time. The Kameos can be changed mid-set, and there is minimal delay when that occurs... So, it's likely a conscious compromise they made, sacrificing the dialogues for smoother, more "cinematic" transitions.

Yeah, would be nice to have a way to see these at least in towers or online as going to VS just to see them, will be a bit annoying. Would like to have a option to show these in the options menu as part of a update. Street Fighter 6 sort of did this though, with the walk to the ring presentation just for VS

How about putting the dialogues in 1 player mode? MK1 developers are getting lazy.

Its a shame, IT would be nice in invasions and Towers....

Update the game with a setting in options to enable it for offline modes like single player, towers, and invasions. It's all they need to do and it gives the player the choice if they want to see it or not. Stuff like this really shouldn't need people pointing it out but then again we live in an age where developers don't even include a NG+ in most games now.

They already got 70 to 100 bucks for this crap from most of us, why would they bother to fix it? They now know they can squeeze out a MK game with minimal effort using the engine of the previous game.
