To be frank, online, I don't need the dialogue that I've already heard, even less than I need it offline once I've heard it a couple of times. However, to please everyone, they should have added an option to leave the dialogue exchanges in; where if one player has it set to "ON", the exchanges will play (but, can be skipped by either player pressing the buttons).
They had literally that in MK11. I don't understand how it slows down the battle if either player can just skip it. And even so I don't know how it slows down the game. The tower battles still have intros in them, the only difference is that the characters are just silent now. I get it you don't really care for hearing it again and again, but I felt like it gave the game some charm.
